Vaccination Districts constituted.
PLUNKET, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in the Governor by “The Public Health Act, 1900,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing vaccination district known as the Lyell District, and do declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said district is hereby divided anew into two vaccination districts, the names and boundaries whereof shall be as follow:—
LYELL DISTRICT.
Bounded towards the north-west generally by the eastern watershed of the Orikaka River from the confluence of the said Orikaka River with the Buller River to the Lyell Range; thence by the summit of the Lyell Range to the watershed between the Newton Stream and the Matiri River; thence towards the east generally by the summit of the range over Mount Newton to the Buller River; and by the summit of the range between the Matakita and Maruia Rivers over Mount Mantell and Mount Cann to the summit of the main range near the source of the Maruia River; thence towards the south-east and south generally by the watershed between the Maruia and Waiau-uha Rivers and between the Maruia and Grey Rivers to Mount Haast; and thence towards the west generally by the watershed between the Maruia and Inangahua Rivers to a point due east of the confluence of the Buller and Inangahua Rivers; thence by a right line to the said confluence of the Buller and Inangahua Rivers; and thence by the Buller River to the Orikaka River, the place of commencement.
MURCHISON DISTRICT.
Bounded towards the north-west and north generally by the summit of the Lyell Range and the watershed between the Wangapeka and the Buller Rivers to Mount Owen; thence towards the east generally by the watershed between the Owen and Dart Rivers and between the Owen and Hope Rivers over Mount Hope to the confluence of the Buller and Gowan Rivers; thence by the Gowan River to Lake Rotoroa; thence by the western shore of Lake Rotoroa and along the watershed between the D’Urville and Sabine Rivers to the Spenser Mountains; thence towards the south-east by the summit of the Spenser Mountains to a point near the source of the Maruia River; thence towards the south-west and west generally by the watershed between the Maruia and Matakita Rivers over Mount Cann and Mount Mantell to the Buller River; thence by a line across the Buller River; and thence by the watershed between the Newton Stream and Matiri River over Mount Newton to the summit of the Lyell Range, the place of commencement.

Removing Restrictions against Alienation of Native Land.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by section fourteen of “The Maori Land Laws Amendment Act, 1903,” it is enacted that, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in any Act, or in any Crown grant or other instrument of title, the Governor may, on the recommendation of the Board, remove any restriction on the alienation of land owned by Maoris: Provided that the decision of the Governor on any recommendation of the Board shall be given within six months from the date of the receipt of such recommendation:
And whereas the Waikato District Maori Land Board, by a recommendation made and passed by the said Board on the twenty-ninth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and six, and received on the twelfth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and six, recommended the Governor to remove and revoke the restrictions against alienation contained in the instrument of title of the block of land known as Allotment 379, Parish of Waipipi, as from the third day of March, one thousand nine hundred and three:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon and vested in me by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities me thereunto enabling, and in accordance with the recommendation of the Waikato District Maori Land Board aforesaid, do hereby remove and revoke the restrictions now existing against the alienation of the land particularised and set out in the Schedule hereto, as from the aforesaid third day of March, one thousand nine hundred and three.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land containing 80 acres, more or less, being the land known as Allotment 379, situate in the Parish of Waipipi, in the Land District of Auckland, and being the land comprised in a Crown grant dated the 2nd day of February, 1878, in favour of Epiha Kaihau and others, containing the following restriction: “Inalienable by sale, or by lease for a longer period than twenty-one years, or by mortgage, except with the consent of the Governor being previously obtained to any such sale, lease, or mortgage.”

Setting apart Crown Lands for Purposes of “The Coal-mines Act, 1905.”
PLUNKET, Governor.
PURSUANT to the provision of Part II of “The Coal-mines Act, 1905,” and in exercise of the powers thereby conferred, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the unalienated Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto are hereby set apart for the purposes of that Part of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 10,790 acres, more or less, bounded towards the west by a road reserve along the sea-shore from the Waianiwhaniwha or Ten-mile Creek to the north-western corner of Section No. 25, in Block I, Cobden Survey District; thence towards the south-west generally by the State Coal-mine Reserve, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 15, of the 20th February, 1902, to the north-western boundary-line of Coal Lease No. 2391; thence towards the south-east by the said Coal Lease No. 2391 and the production of its north-western boundary-line to the eastern boundary-line of Block V, Mawheranui Survey District; thence towards the east by the eastern boundary-lines of Blocks V and I, Mawheranui Survey District, to the easternmost corner of the Paparoa Company’s lease; thence towards the north-west and east generally by the said Paparoa Company’s lease to its northernmost corner, and by the production of its north-western boundary-line to the southern boundary-line of Block XIII, Waiwhero Survey District; thence by a line running due north for a distance of 80 chains; thence by a right line running in the direction of Trig. Station J, in Block XIII, Waiwhero Survey District, to the Waianiwhaniwha or Ten-mile Creek; thence towards the north and north-west generally by the said Waianiwhaniwha or Ten-mile Creek to the place of commencement.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twentieth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and six.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
