    THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said
Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land
so intended to be temporarily reserved.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing
by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Section
No. 14 (Longbush Settlement), Block VIII, Huarangara
Survey District. Commencing at a peg marked No. 1,
being 760·7 links on a bearing of 132° 5′ from old peg at
side angle of Wangaehe Road, and bounded towards the
north-east, south-east, and south-west by Section No. 3 of
said block, and towards the north-west by Section No. 3 of
the said Block VIII and the abutment of a road 100 links
wide to the point of commencement; as the same is de-
lineated on the plan marked S.G. 19264/153, deposited in
the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red. For gravel purposes.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-second day of December, one thousand
nine hundred and six.

Land temporarily reserved in the Nelson Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section
of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the
Governor may from time to time, either by general or parti-
cular description, and whether the same has been surveyed
or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that
the same may be then held under pastoral license, any
Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of
the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and
pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by
the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale
the land in the Nelson Land District described in the
Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said
Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land
so intended to be temporarily reserved.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, being Reserve
No. 10 (in red), situated in Block II, Waitahu Survey Dis-
trict, and Block XIV, Reefton Survey District, and contain-
ing by admeasurement 605 acres, more or less. Commencing
at Trig. Station L, in Block II, Waitahu Survey District,
and bounded towards the south-west and north-west gene-
rally by the summit of the western watershed of Auld’s
Creek, through Trig. Station Q, in Block XIV, Reefton Sur-
vey District, to the Inangahua River; thence across that
river and the road along the right bank thereof to a point on
the latter being about 19 chains distant from the southern-
most corner of Section No. 214A of Square 131; again to-
wards the south west by that road; towards the west by a
road-line, by the last-mentioned section, by a line across
the Water-race Reserve, and again by the last-mentioned
section; towards the north-east by Section No. 210,
Block XIV, Reefton Survey District, and by the watershed
of the Inangahua River to a point distant about 19 chains
from the southernmost corner of that section; thence
towards the south-east generally by the summit of the spur
leading down to the Inangahua River in the direction of
the easternmost corner of Section No. 4, Block XIV, Reef-
ton Survey District, by a right line across that river to the
north-west corner of that section, by that section, by a road
along the left bank of the said river, by Fitzmaurice’s resi-
dence-area, and by Section No. 195 of Square 131 to its
westernmost corner; and again towards the north-east and
east generally by the summit of the eastern watershed of
Auld’s Creek to Trig. Station L, the point of commence-
ment: excepting from the area above described all freehold
lands, lands leased from the Crown, mining privileges,
reserves, roads, and the bed of the Inangahua River: as the
same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 56453, deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington,
and thereon edged in red. For the conservation of water-
supply for the Town of Reefton.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-second day of December, one thousand
nine hundred and six.

Lands temporarily reserved in the Southland Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.

Block VI, Town of Wyndham. Bounded towards the north
by Raglan Street, 854·2 links; towards the east by Alma
Street, 351·2 links; towards the south by Florence Street,
854·2 links; and towards the west by Section No. 75, in the
said block, 351·2 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or
less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 56462A,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wel-
ington, and thereon bordered red. For a site for a public
school.

All that area in the Southland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 3 acres 2 roods 38 perches, more or less,
being Section No. 30, Block II, Village of Tokanui.
Bounded towards the north-west by Sections Nos. 16, 17, 18,
19, 20, 21, and 22, in the said block, 722·6 links; towards
the east by Section No. 31, in the said block, 645·2 links;
towards the south by Section No. 32, in the said block,
691·8 links; and towards the west by Otara Street,
436·4 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less:
as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 56462B,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wel-
ington, and thereon bordered red. For a site for a public
school.

All that area in the Southland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 1 acre and 15 perches, more or less,
being Sections Nos. 16, 17, 18, and 19, Block II, Village of
Tokanui. Bounded towards the north-west by Main Street,
400 links; towards the north-east by Section No. 20, in the
said block, 250 links; towards the south-east by Section
No. 30, in the said block, 475·5 links; and towards the west
by Otara Street, 261·1 links: be all the aforesaid linkages
more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked
S.G. 56462B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a
site for a public school.

All that area in the Southland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 4 acres 2 roods 27 perches, more or less,
being Section No. 14, Block II, Village of Mossburn.
Bounded towards the north-west by Surrey Street, 500 links;
towards the north-east by Kent Street, 933·6 links; towards
the south-east by Section No. 22, in the said block, and by
the abutment of Dorset Street, 500 links; and towards the
south-west by Sections Nos. 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1, in the said
block, 933·6 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less:
as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 56462C,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wel-
ington, and thereon bordered red. For a site for a public
school.

All that area in the Southland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 6 acres, more or less, being Sections
Nos. 7, 8, 9, 40, 41, and 42, Block II, Village of Longridge.
Bounded towards the north-west by Lawrence Street,
600 links; towards the north-east by Sections Nos. 1, 2, 3,
4, 5, and 6, in the said block, 1000 links; towards the south-
east by Clyde Street, 600 links; and towards the south-west
by Sections Nos. 10 and 39, in the said block, 1000 links: be
all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is de-
lineated on the plan marked S.G. 56462D, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red. For a site for a public school.

All that area in the Southland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 10 acres and 4 perches, more or less,
being Section No. 9A, Village of Lintley. Bounded towards
the north by Section No. 9, in the said village, 1314·9 links;
towards the east by Section No. 8, in the said village,
985 links; towards the south by a public road, 720·6 links;
and towards the south-west by a public road, 1150 links:
be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is
delineated on the plan marked S.G. 56462E, deposited in
