Notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required is deposited in my public office, situate in the Municipal Buildings, Jackson Street, Petone, and is open for inspection without fee during ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected are called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections they may have to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the said Council, addressed to me at the office aforesaid.

I, ARCHIBALD COTTERELL McMASTER, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, University of Edinburgh, Certificate in Tropical Diseases, University of Edinburgh, now residing in Auckland, hereby give notice that I intend applying on the 20th January next to have my name placed on the Medical Register for the Colony of New Zealand, and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualification in the office of the Registrar at Auckland.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between the undersigned, CHARLES CANNING and WILLIAM WYCHEMIRSKY, carrying on business under the style of “Canning and Wychemirsky,” at the Napier Central Garage, Station Street, Napier, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent. The business will be continued at the same premises by the said Charles Canning, who will discharge all liabilities of the late firm, and to whom all debts owing to the said firm shall be paid, his receipt being a sufficient discharge.

COOK COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE is hereby given that this Council proposes to execute a certain public work—viz., the construction of a dray-road through Tuawhata 4B1, Tuawhata 4B2, and Tokomaru 1B, Puatae, Roto-o-tahi, and Tuawhata 2B1B Block, situated in Blocks III and VII, Whangara Survey District, and to take for that purpose the lands described in the Schedule hereto.
The works to be undertaken are drains, formation, and culverts for the passage of surface water.
The owners of the lands affected are Messrs. Barker Brothers and H. Loisel, Karepa Kautuka, Karaitiana te Eko, Rawiri Hinaki, and other Native owners.
Any person having any objection to the construction of the road is required to state the objection in writing, and send the writing to the office of the Cook County Council, Gisborne, on or before Saturday, 6th January, 1907.
The Council also proposes to stop portions of the present road-line where it passes through the blocks before named, and convey to the owners of the adjacent lands such portions of the old road as are considered unnecessary for public use.
A plan of the road to be taken may be seen at the office of the Cook County Council, Gisborne, during office hours.

IN pursuance of the above Act, notice is hereby given that the Colonists’ Land and Loan Corporation (Limited), a company incorporated, and having its registered office at No. 9, New Broad Street, in the City of London, and its chief office for the Colony of New Zealand in the Town of Feilding, intends voluntarily to cease carrying on business in any part of New Zealand as from the date hereof.
