Road District lying westward of the Wairoa River. This district includes the following islands: Rangitoto, Motutapu, Rakino, Motuihi, Brown’s, Waiheke, Pakatoa, Ruth’s, Ponui, Pahiki.

FRANKLIN.

Franklin District comprises the Awhitu, Waiuku, Pukekohe, and Maungatawhiri Ridings of Manukau County; together with the Hunua Road District of Papakura Riding and that part of the Wairoa Road District east of the Wairoa River, the Whangamarino Riding of Waikato County, and the Huntly Riding less the south-western portion lying south of the road running east from the Waikato River immediately north of the Hakanoa Lake to Section 9A, Taupiri Parish; thence along the northern boundary of that section and through the Auckland University College endowment to the Mangawara River; and also the Te Akau, Onewhero, and Whangape Ridings of Raglan County; and that part of the Waingaro Riding included in the existing Franklin Electoral District.

THAMES.

Thames District comprises the Coromandel and Thames Counties, together with the Borough of Thames.

OHINEMURI.

Ohinemuri District comprises the Ohinemuri County and the Borough of Waihi.

WAIKATO.

Waikato District comprises Waipa County, less that part of the Town of Cambridge south of the Waikato River, and includes the Karioi, Whaingaroa, Pirongia, and Karamu Ridings of Raglan County, and that part of Waingaro Riding in the existing Waikato Electoral District; and also Kirikiriroa and Tamahere Ridings of Waikato County, the southern portion of Huntly Riding excluded from the Franklin District hereinbefore described; and the western portion of Cambridge Riding lying west of the road running south from Fencourt to the Waikato River west of Cambridge Borough and lying west of the railway-line from Fencourt to the northern boundary of the riding. This district includes the Borough of Hamilton.

TAURANGA.

Tauranga District comprises the Counties of Tauranga and Piako, together with that portion of the County of West Taupo lying north of a right line from the source of the Ongaruhe River to Lake Taupo at the mouth of the Waihora Stream, and also that portion of Cambridge Riding of Waikato County excluded from the Waikato District hereinbefore described; and also the Boroughs of Tauranga, Te Aroha, and Cambridge, and that part of the Town of Cambridge south of the Waikato River.

BAY OF PLENTY.

Bay of Plenty District comprises the Counties of Rotorua, Whakatane, Opotiki, and Waiapu, together with that portion of East Taupo County lying north of the Taupo-Napier Road, and also the Tolago Bay, Waimata, and Waikohu Ridings of Cook County, and that portion of Gisborne Riding lying north of Sections 17, 16, 30, and 71, Block VIII, Waimata Survey District. East Island is also included in this district.

GISBORNE.

Gisborne District comprises the Wairoa County, together with the Hangaroa, Patutahi, Arai, and Whataupoko Ridings of Cook County, and also the Gisborne Riding less that portion north of Sections 17, 16, 30, and 71, Block VIII, Waimata Survey District, included in the Bay of Plenty District hereinbefore described: the Borough of Gisborne is also included in this district. Portland Island is also included in this district.

NAPIER.

Napier District comprises the existing Napier Electoral District, together with the eastern portion of the Puketapu Riding of Hawke’s Bay County lying east of the Mangaone River from the Tutaekuri River to Rissington and south of the road running easterly from Rissington; and also the eastern portion of the Okawa Riding, bounded by the road from Fernhill to Okawa Station, and thence by the road running northerly to the Tutaekuri River.

HAWKE’S BAY.

Hawke’s Bay District comprises that portion of the East Taupo County lying south of the Taupo-Napier Road and east of the Tokaanu-Waiouru Road; together with the Hawke’s Bay County, less the Napier District hereinbefore described: this district also includes the Waipawa Riding of Waipawa County, that part of the Hampden Riding of Waipawa County lying north of the Mangamouku and Mangaonuku Rivers, and also the Patangata and Oero Ridings of Patangata County, the Erehwon Riding of Rangitikei County, and that part of the Karioi Riding of Waimarino County lying east of the Tokaanu-Waiouru Road. This district includes the Borough of Hastings.

TAUMARUNUI.

Taumarunui District comprises the Counties of Kawhia, Waitomo, and Awakino, together with that part of West Taupo County lying south of a right line from the source of the Ongaruhe River to Lake Taupo at the mouth of the Waihora Stream, that part of East Taupo County lying west of the Tokaanu-Waiouru Road, that part of Waimarino County lying west of the Tokaanu-Waiouru Road, and also the Mokau, Urenui, Tikorangi, and Waihi Ridings of Clifton County, that part of Ngatimaru Riding lying north of the Waitara River and the Mangaone Stream, and that part of Waitara West Road District of Taranaki County lying east of Richmond Road and the road from Mataitawa to Lepperton, and the continuation of that road northward and westward to the railway-line and along the railway-line to the boundary of the road district, excluding the Townships of Mataitawa and Lepperton; and includes that portion of the Ohura Riding of Stratford County lying east of the Tangarakau River. This district also includes the Borough of Waitara.

STRATFORD.

Stratford District comprises the North and East Ridings of Stratford County, and the Ohura Riding less that portion lying east of the Tangarakau River; together with that portion of South Riding lying east of a line along Cheal Road from the southern boundary of the county to Skinner Road, and along Skinner Road to Bird Road and lying north of Bird Road and Brookes Road, and also that part of Ngatimaru Riding of Clifton County lying south of the Waitara River and the Mangaone Stream, and the Moa Riding of Taranaki County less that portion included in the existing Taranaki Electoral District. The Boroughs of Stratford and Inglewood are also included in this district.

TARANAKI.

Taranaki District comprises the Omata Riding of Taranaki County; together with that part of Moa Riding in the existing Taranaki Electoral District, the Henui and Egmont Road Districts of Taranaki County, and that part of the Waitara West Road District not included in the Taumarunui District hereinbefore described, and that part of the Rahotu Riding of Egmont County lying north of Newall Road, and also the Borough of New Plymouth.

EGMONT.

Egmont District comprises the Oeo and Opunake Ridings of Egmont County, and that part of the Rahotu Riding lying south of the Newall Road; together with the west riding of Stratford County and that part of South Riding lying west of a line along Cheal Road from the southern boundary of the county to Skinner Road and along Skinner Road to Bird Road and lying south of Bird Road and Brookes Road, also the whole of Eltham County, that part of Mokoia Riding of Hawera County lying north of Tarere Road to Meremere Road, along Meremere Road to Tihi Road, and that road continued westerly to the boundary of the riding, that part of Hawera Riding lying north-east of the Mangimangi Stream and Austin Road, that part of Okaiawa Riding lying north of Normanby Road excluding the Township of Okaiawa, and the Waimate Riding less the south-eastern portion lying south of Normanby Road and west of Maniaia Road and Sutherland Road, excluding the Township of Maniaia from this district. The Borough of Eltham is also included in this district.

PATEA.

Patea District comprises the County of Patea; together with the County of Waitotara less those portions of Brunswick and Westmere Ridings included in the existing Wanganui Electoral District, and also those parts of Mokoia, Hawera, Okaiawa, and Waimate Ridings of Hawera County not included in the Egmont District hereinbefore described. The Boroughs of Hawera and Patea are also included in this district.

WANGANUI.

Wanganui District comprises the southern part of Mataongaonga Riding of Wanganui County lying south of the railway-line, the western part of Purua Riding lying west of the road intersecting Section No. 55, Block VI, Ikitara District, and forming the eastern boundary of Section No. 39, and that portion of Kaitoke Riding lying west of the road fronting Sections Nos. 104, 105, 106, and 107, and north
