of the road known as No. 1 Line; together with the south-eastern portion of Brunswick Riding of Waitotara County bounded by the Mission Line from the Wanganui River to the New Missionary Line, thence by the New Missionary Line to the Brunswick Line, by the Brunswick Line to the Great Western Line, and thence by the Great Western Line to the southern boundary of the riding; and also the eastern portion of Westmere Riding included in the existing Wanganui Electoral District, and the Borough of Wanganui.

RANGITIKEI.

Rangitikei District comprises the Wanganui County, less the southern part of Mataongaonga Riding lying south of the railway-line, less the western part of Purua Riding lying west of the road intersecting Section No. 55, Block VI, Ikitara District, and forming the eastern boundary of Section No. 39, and less that portion of Kaitoke Riding lying west of the road fronting Sections Nos. 104, 105, 106, and 107, and north of the road known as No. 1 Line; together with the Awarua, Te Kapua, Otairi, and Rangatira Ridings of Rangitikei County, and that part of Wangaehu Riding lying to the north-west of the proposed Manawatu Electorate; also that part of the Hautapu Riding of Kiwitea County lying north of the Mangawharariki Stream.

OROUA.

Oroua District comprises the Pohangina County, the whole of the Oroua County except those portions of the Hiwinui, Taonui, and Otangaki Ridings lying south of the main road from Bunnythorpe to Ashhurst, and includes the Pakihikura, Peep-o’-day, Kimbolton, Waituna, Kiwitea, Ongo, Cheltenham, and Rangiwharia Ridings of Kiwitea County, and that part of Hautapu Riding lying south of the Mangawharariki Stream; including the Township of Rangiwharia; together with the Borough of Feilding.

MANAWATU.

Manawatu District comprises the Porewa, Otakapu, and Rangitoto Ridings of Rangitikei County, that part of Wangaehu Riding within the existing Manawatu Electoral District, together with the Manawatu County less that part of Awahou Riding south of the Borough of Foxton and the Foxton-Moutoa Road, that portion of Mangaone Riding lying north-westward of the Bunnythorpe-Kairanga Road, and that portion of the Taonui Riding of Kairanga County lying north-west of the Bunnythorpe-Kairanga Road and Jackytown Road. This district includes the Boroughs of Marton and Foxton.

PALMERSTON.

Palmerston District comprises that portion of the Fitzherbert Riding of Kairanga County bounded towards the south generally by the Manawatu Bridge Road, Sections Nos. 226 and 290, and Palmerston-Pahiatua Road; and includes the eastern portion of Taonui Riding bounded by the Manawatu River, the Wellington and Manawatu Railway line, Jackytown Road, and the Bunnythorpe-Kairanga Road, and that portion of Mangaone Riding lying to the south-east of the Bunnythorpe-Kairanga Road, and those parts of the Ridings of Taonui, Hiwinui, and Otangaki in Oroua County lying south of the main road from Bunnythorpe to Ashhurst. This district includes the Borough of Palmerston North.

WAIPAWA.

Waipawa District comprises Ruataniwha, Takapau, Waipukurau, Norsewood, and Ormondville Ridings of Waipawa County; together with that portion of Hampden Riding lying south of the Mangamouku and Mangaonuku Rivers, the portion of Mangatoro Riding north and west of the Manawatu River, that portion of Dannevirke Riding north of the Tahoraite-Wainui Road to the Tahoraite-Woodville Road, by that road to the road running north-westward between the Tamaki River and the Otamaraho Stream, along that road to Tamaki No. 2 Block and along the boundary between Tamaki Nos. 2 and 3 Blocks to the western boundary of the riding; and also the Taumumu Riding and Wanstead Road District of Patangata County; and the Borough of Dannevirke.

PAHIATUA.

Pahiatua District comprises the Counties of Woodville, Weber, and Akitio, together with the southern portion of Dannevirke Riding of Waipawa County not included in the Waipawa District hereinbefore described, and Mangatoro Riding less that portion north of the Manawatu River, and includes the Porangahau Riding, and the Wallingford Road District of Patangata County, the Pukemiku and Makuri Ridings of Pahiatua County, the northern portion of Mangaohao Riding lying northward of Bridge Road from the Makakahi River to the railway-line, thence southward along the railway-line to Section 43, Mangahao, by Sections 43 and 40 to the Mangahao River, by that river to Section 8, by Section 8 to the Tainui Valley Road, and by that road continued westerly to the county boundary, the northern portion of Mangaone Riding lying north of Rock Road, the Mangaramarama Road and the road fronting Sections 26, 21, 22, and 3, the northern portion of Puketoi Riding lying north of the Makuri River and the Makuri-Rakaunui Road; and also the Boroughs of Woodville and Pahiatua and the Township of Makuri.

MASTERTON.

Masterton District comprises the Eketahuna and Mauriceville Counties, together with the southern portions of Mangahao, Mangaone, and Puketoi Ridings of Pahiatua County not included in the Pahiatua District hereinbefore described, the whole of the Alfredton Riding of Masterton County, the Rangitumau Riding less that portion included in the existing Wairarapa Electoral District, that portion of the Te Whiti Riding west of the Ruamahanga and Wangaehu Rivers, and the eastern part of the Opaki Riding lying east of the road running between the Ruamahanga and Waipoua Rivers and east of the latter river to the Mataihiwi Road, thence by a line south-westerly to the Upper Plain Road, and by that road to the Borough of Masterton, including the Borough of Masterton.

WAIRARAPA.

Wairarapa District comprises the Counties of Castlepoint, Wairarapa South, and Featherston, the Wainuioru and Upper Taueru Ridings of Masterton County, together with those portions of Rangitumau, Te Whiti, and Opaki Ridings not included in the Masterton District hereinbefore described, and also the Boroughs of Carterton and Greytown.

OTAKI.

Otaki District comprises the County of Horowhenua, together with the portion of Awahou Riding of Manawatu County south of the Borough of Foxton and the Foxton-Moutoa Road, the southern portion of the Taonui Riding of Kairanga County lying to the south-east of the Palmerston North – Oroua Bridge Road and south of the Wellington – Palmerston North Railway, also the southern portion of the Fitzherbert Riding bounded on the north generally by the Manawatu Bridge Road, Sections 215, 216, 217, 220, 221, 223, 224, and the Palmerston-Pahiatua Road, also that portion of the Hutt County bounded towards the south-east generally by the Mungaroa Riding of the said county to Section No. 196, Block IV, Belmont District, thence by Sections Nos. 196, 196A, 265, 264, 263, 437, 436, 431, 336, 341, 338, 340, 339, 331, 330, 329, 27, 7, 6, and 50 to the Wellington-Porirua Road, by that road to the Porirua Asylum Reserve, by the southern and western boundaries of that reserve and the southern boundaries of Wairere Nos. 2 and 1 Blocks to the sea. The Borough of Levin is included in this district, and Kapiti and Mana Islands.

HUTT.

Hutt District comprises the portion of the Hutt County bounded towards the north-west generally by the Otaki District hereinbefore described to Section No. 6, Block VII, Port Nicholson Survey District, thence by Sections Nos. 6, 4, 3, 2, 1, 38, 19, 18, 17, 13, 10, 8, 7, and 78 to the Korokoro Stream, by that stream to the western boundary of the Borough of Petone, and by the said western boundary to Port Nicholson; together with the Boroughs of Petone, Lower Hutt, and Eastbourne.

WELLINGTON NORTH.

Wellington North District comprises that portion of the City of Wellington situated north-west of a line which commences at the south-western corner of that part of the City of Wellington known as Kelburne (formerly Upland Farm), and proceeds easterly and northerly along the southern and eastern boundaries of Kelburne to the northern boundary of Native Reserve; thence easterly along the northern boundary of Native Reserve and through Plantation Reserve to Town Acre 436; thence southerly along the western boundaries of Town Acres 436, 435, 434, 433, 432, and 431; thence easterly along the southern boundary of Town Acre 431 to Woolcombe Street; thence northerly along Woolcombe Street to Dixon Street; thence easterly along Dixon Street to Cuba Street; and thence northerly along Cuba Street to Lambton Harbour. This district also includes Somes Island.

WELLINGTON CENTRAL.

Wellington Central District comprises that portion of the City of Wellington bounded towards the north-west by the Wellington North District hereinbefore described; towards the north-east by Lambton Harbour to a point opposite the Te Aro Railway-station; towards the east by a line
