PORTION CONTAINING 20 PERCHES.

Commencing at the north-eastern angle of the portion of road last hereinbefore described. Bounded towards the north-west by lines, 126·2 links and 340·4 links respectively; and towards the south-east by a line, 450 links, to the commencing-point.

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same are more particularly delineated on Plan R. 8279, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

Consenting to closing Roads through Sections 87 and 87b, Parish of Titirangi, Block IV, Titirangi Survey District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-sixth day of November, 1906.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three, (a), of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” it is enacted that a local authority shall not declare any county or district road to be stopped, and such road shall not be deemed to be stopped, until the consent thereto of the Governor by Order in Council gazetted is obtained:

And whereas the Mount Roskill Road Board has applied for such consent in respect to the road described in the Schedule hereto:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby consent to the closing of the road mentioned in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.

Consenting to closing Road through Sections 16 and 17, Block V, Longwood Survey District, Wallace County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-sixth day of November, 1906.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

Consenting to Land being taken for a Road through Purapura Block, in Waiuku East Parish, Block II, Onewhero Survey District.


PLUNKET, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-sixth day of November, 1906.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by “The Public Works Act, 1905” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is, in section fifteen, (b), thereof, inter alia, enacted that there shall not be taken any land occupied by any building, yard, garden, orchard, or vineyard, or in bona fide occupation as an ornamental park or pleasure-ground, without the previous consent of the Governor in Council:

And whereas the consent of the Governor in Council is required to the taking of land for the purposes of a road in Waiuku East Parish, Block II, Onewhero Survey District, through the land described in the Schedule hereto, which is occupied by an orchard and ornamental Native bush:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for the purposes of a road in the Purapura Block.

WHEREAS by section thirty of “The Public Works Act, 1905” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken, purchased, or acquired at any time under this or any other Act or provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever, for any public work is not required for such public work, the Governor may, by Order in Council publicly notified and
