Land in the Kanieri Survey District taken for the Purposes of a Rifle Range and for a Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1905,” for the purposes of a rifle range and for a road: And whereas an agreement for the taking of the estate in fee-simple of the said land has been entered into, and it has been made to appear that such agreement is sufficient for the purposes intended to be effected thereby:

And whereas a plan has been prepared in duplicate showing accurately the position and extent of the said land, and the Minister for Public Works has recommended that this Proclamation should be issued:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said rifle range and for a road as aforesaid; and it is hereby declared that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventh day of December, one thousand nine hundred and six.

All in the Westland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 22363, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured as above.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of November, in the year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred and six.

Additional Land taken in Campbelltown Hundred for the Purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway to take further land in Campbelltown Hundred, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is taken for the purposes above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and six.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Sanitary Sewage Irrigation Area in Tahoraite No. 2 Block, Tahoraite Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1905,” for a certain sanitary work, to wit, for a sanitary sewage irrigation area in Tahoraite No. 2 Block:

And whereas the Council of the Borough of Dannevirke has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” and “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a sanitary work, to wit, a sanitary sewage irrigation area in Tahoraite No. 2 Block, and shall vest in the Corporation of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Dannevirke.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-sixth day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and six.
