All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 7 acres 2 roods, more or less, being an island in the Maruia River, known as Section No. 8, Block XVI, Burnett Survey District, situated to the westward of Section No. 5 of the said Block XVI; as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55636/1B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 15 acres 3 roods 11 perches, more or less, being Section No. 3, Block III, Rahu Survey District. Bounded towards the east generally by a public road along the western bank of the Maruia River; towards the south-west by Section No. 4, Block III aforesaid, 1550 links; and towards the north-west by the said Section No. 4, 1600 links: excepting Waterfall Creek, together with a public road 1 chain in width on either side thereof: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55636/1B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 52 acres, more or less, being an island in the Maruia River, known as Section No. 6, Block III, Rahu Survey District, situated between its confluence with Station Creek on the north and Woolley’s River on the south; as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55636/1B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. For scenery-preservation.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 6 acres 3 roods, more or less, being Section No. 7, Block IV, Rahu Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 5 of the said Block IV, 1000 links; towards the east by Section No. 1 of Block IV aforesaid, 675 links; towards the south by the said Section No. 1, 1000 links; and towards the west by a public road, 675 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is

PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Otago Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 2 perches, more or less, being Section No. 57, Block III, Cromwell Survey District. Bounded towards the north by part of Section No. 61, Block III aforesaid, 599 links; towards the north-east by part of Section No. 64 of the said block, 447 links; and towards the south-west by a road-line, 953 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55948, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a site for a public hall and athenæum.

For a camping-ground.
All that area in the Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less, being Section No. 5A, Block I, Lillburn Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by a public road, 1199·3 and 715·4 links; towards the east by a public road, 1120·7 links;
