PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Marlborough Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 14 acres and 32 perches, more or less, being Section No. 10, Block VI, Town of Ward (Flaxbourne Settlement). Bounded towards the north by the Needles Creek; towards the east by Crown land, 1620 links; towards the south by a public road, 1000 links; and towards the west by Ward Street, 1200 links, and by Section No. 12, 400 and 475 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 18886/488, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. For a public recreation-ground.
All that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 73 acres, more or less, being Section No. 2, Block X, Whernside Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 1 of Block X, Whernside Survey District, 1367·1 links; towards the east by a public road 2 chains wide along the shore of the Pacific Ocean; and towards the west by a public road, 1545, 1149·1, 786·2, 1923·9, 931·4, 446·2, and 1492·3 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55799, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For purposes of the Post and Telegraph Department.

For road-metal purposes.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 41 acres and 8 perches, more or less, being Section No. 9, Block II, Rintoul Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 8, Block II, Rintoul Survey District, 1400 links; towards the north-east by Section No. 10 of the said block, 1450 links; towards the south generally by a public road along the northern bank of Waterfall Creek; and towards the west generally by a public road along the eastern bank of the River Lee: be the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55636/1A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
