| All that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 1 rood 36 perches, more or less, being Reserve No. 1846 (in red), Town of Arowhenua; as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 56077, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. Reserved for General Government purposes in Canterbury Provincial Gazette of 20th May, 1875. | Acclimatisation. |
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-sixth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and six.

Land temporarily reserved in the Auckland Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods, more or less, being Section No. 8 of Block III, Otanake Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 6, Block III, Otanake Survey District, 255 links; towards the south-east by Sections Nos. 12, 11, 10, and 9 of Block III aforesaid, 703·3 links; towards the south-west by a public road along the north-eastern bank of the Mangaokewa Stream, 107·9 and 151·6 links; and towards the north-west by Section No. 7 of Block III aforesaid, 694·2 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55961, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. For police purposes.

Bounded towards the north generally by the Mangaparare Road, 1482·6 links; towards the south-east by Section No. 3, Mangaroa Suburban, 743·6 links; and towards the south-west by Section No. 1, Mangaroa Suburban, 948·9 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55816, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a site for a public cemetery.
All that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 3 roods 15 perches, more or less, being Section No. 1, Tatu Village Suburban (Block XIII, Ohura Survey District). Bounded towards the north by Section No. 5, Tatu Village Suburban, 756 links; towards the east by the Ohura Road, 732·2 links; towards the south by Section No. 6, Block XIII, Ohura Survey District, 879 links; and towards the west generally by the Heao Stream: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55721, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a site for a public school.
All that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 3 roods 6 perches, more or less, being Section No. 16, Block VI, Pouatu Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 13, Block VI, Pouatu Survey District, 1499·4 links; towards the east by Railway Reserve, 556·9 links; towards the south and south-east by the Tahora Road, 1823·9 links; and towards the west by the said Section No. 13, 1097·9 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55779, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a resting-place for travelling stock.

For the growth and preservation of timber.
