Land taken for a Further Portion of the Catlin’s—Seaward Bush Railway (Portion of Houipapa Section), and for Road-diversions in connection therewith.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for a further portion of the Catlin’s—Seaward Bush Railway—namely, a portion of the Houipapa Section—and for road-diversions in connection therewith:

And whereas all conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purpose hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section one hundred and eighty-eight of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the further portion of the said line of railway hereinbefore specified, and for road-diversions as aforesaid.

All in the Land District of Otago; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 22094, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured as above.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and six.
