All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 16 perches, more or less, being Section No. 98, Block XIV, Ohinewairua Survey District, and being a closed road adjoining Block X, Taihape Township, and Section No. 43, Suburbs of Taihape Township, as proclaimed in New Zealand Gazette No. 41, of 31st May, 1906 (page 1379); as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55971, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green. For a public recreation-ground.

All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 1 rood 13 perches, more or less, being Section No. 99, Block XIV, Ohinewairua Survey District, and being a closed road adjoining Block X, Taihape Township, and Sections Nos. 44 and 43, Suburbs of Taihape Township, as proclaimed in New Zealand Gazette No. 41, of 31st May, 1906 (page 1379); as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55971, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green. For a public recreation-ground.

All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Section No. 7, Block 111, Paraparaumu Township. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 8 of the said township; towards the south-east by Section No. 11; towards the south-west by Section No. 6; and towards the north-west by a public road 100 links wide: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55881, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. For a site for an athenæum and mechanics’ institute.

All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods, more or less, being Section No. 10, Block VII, Paraparaumu Township. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 11 of the said township; towards the south-east by a public road 100 links wide; towards the south-west by Section No. 9; and towards the north-west by Section No. 35, Block VII, Suburban: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55881, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. For a site for public buildings of the General Government.

All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods, more or less, being Section No. 11, Block VII, Paraparaumu Township. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 12 of the said township; towards the south-east by a public road 100 links wide; towards the south-west by Section No. 10; and towards the north-west by Section No. 35, Block VII, Suburban: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55881, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. For a site for a public pound.

All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Section No. 29, Township of Manukau. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 30 of the said township; towards the east by Section No. 31; towards the south by Section No. 28; and towards the west by Honi Taipua Street: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55876, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. For municipal purposes.

Bounded towards the north by Mokena Kohere Street; towards the east by Section No. 31; towards the south by Section No. 29; and towards the west by Honi Taipua Street: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55876, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. For municipal purposes.

All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods, more or less, being Section No. 31, Township of Manukau. Bounded towards the north by Mokena Kohere Street; towards the east by Wi Pere Street; towards the south by Section No. 26; and towards the west by Sections Nos. 29 and 30: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55876, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. For a site for a public pound.

All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Section No. 44, Township of Manukau. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 43 of the said township; towards the east by Section No. 53; towards the south by Section No. 45; and towards the west by Wi Pere Street: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55876, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. For a public recreation-ground.

Lands permanently reserved.

PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

And whereas by the two-hundred-and-thirty-sixth section of the said Act it is provided that land temporarily reserved under the said two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section may, at the expiration of one month but not later than six months after the publication in the Gazette of notice of such temporary reservation, be permanently reserved, and that notice of such permanent reservation shall be published in the Gazette:

And whereas the lands specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto were, by the Warrants the dates of which are specified in the third column of the said Schedule, and the notifications of which were published in the Gazette specified in the fourth column, temporarily reserved under the authority of the said Act for the purposes specified in the second column of the said Schedule:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the said Act, do hereby permanently reserve the lands so temporarily reserved as aforesaid, and enumerated in the first column of the Schedule hereto, for the purposes specified in the second column of the said Schedule, being the same purposes for which the said lands were so temporarily reserved as aforesaid.
