affairs of the company and distributing its assets, his
remuneration for such services to be the sum of ten
guineas.

In the matter of the First Chance Gold-dredging Company
(Limited).
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of
the above-named company, held at Dunedin, on Mon-
day, the 8th day of October, 1906, the following resolution
was passed :—
“That the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities,
continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up
the same, and that the company be wound up accordingly
under “The Companies Act, 1903,” and that Mr. C. S.
Reeves be appointed Liquidator, at a fee of fifteen guineas.”

ELECTION OF MEMBERS OF THE PHARMACY
BOARD OF NEW ZEALAND.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is my intention to pro-
ceed, on Friday, the 16th November, 1906, to the
election of eight duly registered pharmaceutical chemists of
New Zealand, to serve as members of the Pharmacy Board
of New Zealand in place of the members who retire by
effluxion of time on the 31st day of December, 1906, and are
eligible for re-election.
Two members for the Central District, to be elected by
the registered pharmaceutical chemists residing within the
District of Wellington, the boundaries of which are the same
as those of the Provincial Districts of Wellington, Hawke’s
Bay, Nelson, and Marlborough.
Two members for the District of Auckland, to be elected
by the registered pharmaceutical chemists residing within
the District of Auckland, the boundaries of which are the
same as those of the Provincial Districts of Auckland and
Taranaki.
Two members for the District of Canterbury, to be
selected by the registered pharmaceutical chemists residing
within the District of Canterbury, the boundaries of which
are the same as those of the Provincial Districts of Canter-
bury and Westland.
Two members for the District of Otago, to be elected by
the registered pharmaceutical chemists residing within the
District of Otago, the boundaries of which are the same as
those of the Provincial District of Otago.
All candidates must be nominated in the manner pro-
vided by the regulations under “The Pharmacy Act, 1898.”
Nominations will be received by the Registrar at his office,
corner of Featherston and Brandon Streets, Wellington,
before 4 p.m. on Tuesday, 30th October, 1906.
Nomination forms will be supplied upon application to
the Registrar, and the three Deputy Registrars, as follows :
Auckland, Mr. S. A. Smith ; Christchurch, Mr. E. C.
Skog ; Dunedin, Mr. E. C. Woodward.
