Applications for Confirmation Certificates under Section 55.

NOTICE is hereby given that applications have been made to a Judge of the Court for certificates under section 55 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894,” confirming the alienations hereunder specified. All objections to the granting of such certificates must be lodged with me within fourteen days from the publication of this notice.

MINING NOTICES.

COROMANDEL FREEHOLD PROPRIETARY GOLD-MINING COMPANY (NO LIABILITY).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the Coromandel Freehold Proprietary Gold-mining Company (No Liability), duly convened, and held at No. 109 Victoria Arcade, Auckland, on the 19th September, 1906, the subjoined resolution was duly passed, and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the said company, also duly convened, and held at the same place on the 9th October, 1906, the subjoined resolution was duly confirmed, viz.:—

“That the Coromandel Freehold Proprietary Gold-mining Company (No Liability) be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of ‘The Mining Companies Act, 1904.’”

And at the last above-named meeting HENRY GILFILLAN, the younger, Company Secretary, of Auckland, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.

A1 GOLD-DREDGING COMPANY (LIMITED).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the above company, held at their offices, 141 Hereford Street, Christchurch, on Thursday, 11th October, 1906, the following resolution was unanimously adopted: “That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily; and that GEORGE KING be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up, at a remuneration of 5 per cent. on the amount realised and his out-of-pocket costs.”
