NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the Jackson’s Bay Flax-milling Company (Limited), held at the registered office, Midland Chambers, on Wednesday, 26th July, 1906. the following extraordinary resolutions were carried:—

NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the Borough of Temuka has appointed and established a public pound on the reserve numbered 757, situated at the corner of Whitcombe Street and North Town Belt, in the Borough of Temuka, and that the same is hereby appointed a public pound accordingly.

And further that the said Council hath appointed and doth hereby appoint Mr. WILLIAM PHILP to be the Pound-keeper of the said pound.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND IN CONNECTION WITH NORTHCOTE WATER-SUPPLY WORKS ON SECTION 73, PARISH OF TAKAPUNA.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of "The Public Works Act, 1905," by the Waitemata County Council, to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a pumping-station in connection with the Northcote Water-supply Works, on part of Section 73, Parish of Takapuna, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is further given that the plan of the said road and of the land so required to be taken is deposited for public inspection at the office of the Waitemata County Council, 15 Palmerston Buildings, Queen Street, Auckland. And notice is also hereby given that all persons affected by the execution of such public work or the taking of such land shall, if they have any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works, Wellington.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND IN THE HUIROA SURVEY DISTRICT FOR A ROAD.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of "The Public Works Act, 1905," to take for a deviation of the Toetoe Road, being a road under the care, control, and management of the Moa Road Board, the land described in the Schedule hereto. And notice is hereby given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Moa Road Board, in Richmond Street, in Inglewood, and is there open for inspection during office hours; and that all persons affected by the taking of such land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking thereof, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within the space of forty days from the first publication hereof, addressed to the Moa Road Board, Inglewood.
