for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £350, authorised to be raised by the Waimate Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing part of the cost of erecting and completing a bridge over the Kapuni Stream, on the Skeet Road, the said Waimate Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1¾d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Kapuni Bridge, Skeet Road, Special-rating District, comprising Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, part of 15, Sections 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 42, 43, and 44, Block XV, Kaupokonui Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The interest is to be at the rate of 4 per centum per annum. The cost of raising this loan and the first year's interest thereon is to be paid out of loan money.

I, Thomas Andrew Bridge, Chairman of the Waimate Road Board, certify that the above special order was adopted at a special meeting of the Waimate Road Board held on the 10th day of April, and confirmed at a meeting of the said Board held on the 9th day of May, 1906.

WAIMATE ROAD BOARD.

Special Order making Special Rate.

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Waimate Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £105, authorised to be raised by the Waimate Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing part of the cost of erection of two bridges, one over the Mangawhero Stream, and one over the Otakeho Stream, on the Opunake–Stratford Road, the said Waimate Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Mangawhero and Otakeho Bridges Special-rating District, comprising Sections Nos. 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 15, 16, Block VI; Sections 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 80, 78, 79, 81, 61, 62, 63, 50, 51; Sections Nos. 19, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 41, 42, 3, 38, 39, 40, 44, 25, 26, 27, 28, 12, 13, 14, 8, 9, 10, 16, 17, 18, 21, 20, 5, 7, 11, Makaka Village Settlement, Block X; all in the Kaupokonui Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of January and the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The interest to be at the rate of 5 per centum per annum. All expenses in connection with raising this loan are to be paid out of loan-money.

MOA ROAD BOARD.

NOTICE is hereby given that the above Board intends, at a special meeting to be held on Saturday, 21st July, 1906, to confirm the following special order:—

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and its amendments, the Moa Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £600, authorised to be raised by the Moa Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and metalling the Egmont Road North from the Junction Road northwards, the said Moa Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1¹⁄₈d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Egmont Road North Special-rating District, comprising Sections 46, 47 (in two subdivisions), part 50, 58, 59, part 60, Subdivision 1, 2, 3, 4, part of part Subdivision 5 of Section 61, Block X, Paritutu Survey District (Hua and Waiwaikaiho Hundred); 1, 5, 11, 15, 21, 25, 31, 35, 41, 45, 51, 55, 63, 65, 73, 75, 90, 91, 97, 98, 104, 105, 88, 89, 95, 96, 6, 10, 16, 20, 26, 30, 36, 40, 46, 50, 56, 60, 66, 70, 76, 80, 92, 93, 99, 100, 106, 7, 102, 103, of Section 61, Block III, Egmont Survey District (Hua and Waiwaikaiho Hundred), Egmont Village: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, at 5 per centum per annum, or until the loan is fully paid off.

All expenses in connection with raising this loan to be paid out of loan-money.

THE following special order, made by the West Taieri Drainage Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” in substitution for that already gazetted on page 1907 of the New Zealand Gazette, 1906.

WEST TAIERI DRAINAGE DISTRICT.

Special Order making Special Rate.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the West Taieri Drainage Board hereby resolve as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £300, authorised to be raised by the West Taieri Drainage Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of drainage-works, to complete which the purchase of a pump is requisite, the said West Taieri Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¼d. in the pound upon the rateable value of rateable property in the West Taieri Drainage District, comprising Sections 50 to 60, part 61, part 62, part 1 of 63, part 2 of 63, part 65, 66, 67, 68, 1 of 69, 2 of 69, 70, 71, 72, and part 7, Block III, Maungatua Survey District; part 10, part 11, part 12, Block II, West Taieri Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly—namely, on the 1st day of January and the 1st day of June—in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The rate of interest is 4 per cent. per annum. First half-year’s interest rate to be payable the 1st day of January, 1907. The above special order was advertised on the 12th, 19th, 26th June, and 3rd July, and duly confirmed at meeting of the Board on the 7th July, 1906.
