Land temporarily reserved in the Hawke’s Bay Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Hawke’s Bay Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Section No. 164, Town of Frasertown. Bounded towards the north-west by Section No. 161 in the said town, 91·8 links; towards the north-east by Section No. 163, 430·7 links; towards the south-east by Goldsmith Street, 304·1 links; and towards the south-west generally by Russell Parade South, 495·9 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 53012, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. For police purposes.

Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 6 and part of Section No. 2 of the said Block XXXI, 200 links; towards the south-east by Section No. 3, 125 links; towards the south-west by part of Section No. 4, 100 links; again towards the south-east by said Section No. 4, 125 links; again towards the south-west by Torquay Street, 100 links; and towards the north-west by part of Section No. 7, 250 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 52411/8, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For railway purposes.
