I, Thomas A. Bridge, Chairman of the Waimate Road Board, certify that the above resolution was adopted at a special meeting of the Waimate Road Board held on the 12th day of December, 1905, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the above Board held on the 10th day of January, 1906.

SPECIAL ORDER made on the 4th day of August, 1905; confirmed on the 2nd day of September, 1905:—
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in them in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Cook County Council do hereby resolve as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £130, authorised to be raised by the Cook County Council, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for completing the Mangamaia Road, the said Cook County Council do hereby make and levy a special rate of 4d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Mangamaia Loan District, comprising Section 8 of 1, Mangatu 1; Section 6 of 1, Mangatu 1; parts 4 and 5 of 1, Mangatu 1; Section 3 of 1, Mangatu 1; Section 1 of 1, Mangatu 1; Section 2 of 1, Mangatu 1: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during a period equal to the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The rate of interest to be 4 per cent. per annum.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in them in that behalf by “The Counties Act, 1886,” and “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Cook County Council do hereby resolve as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £500, authorised to be raised by the Cook County Council, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for metalling portion of road between Te Aroha Station and the junction of the Hangaroa Road, the said Cook County Council do hereby make and levy a special rate of 3d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Aroha Loan District No. 1, comprising Sections 113, 122, 123, Block II, Patutahi Survey District; part Okahuatiu 2A, 7,225 acres 2 roods 28 perches; Okahuatiu 2c, Sections 1, 4; Okahuatiu 2c, Section 2; Okahuatiu No. 2D, Sections 1, 2A, 3, 2B; part Okahuatiu No. 2, 6,000 acres: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of January

The rate of interest to be 5 per cent.
