Special Order made by the Council of the County of Pahiatua.

THE following special order, made by the Pahiatua County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901."
PAHIATUA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order making Special Rate, Loan No. 71.
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901," the Pahiatua County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000, authorised to be raised by the Pahiatua County Council, under the above-named Act, to provide a water-supply for Makuri, the said Pahiatua County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 2½d. in the pound on the capital value of all property in the Makuri Water-supply Special-rating District—viz., Makuri Township Sections 72 to 108, 110 to 121, 44 to 55, 136 to 145, 122 to 133 (all inclusive); Suburban Sections 149, 150, 152 to 158; also Section 18, Block XIV, all in the Makuri Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, at 4 per cent. per annum, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The above special order was duly made and passed at a special meeting of the Pahiatua County Council on the 4th day of November, 1905, and confirmed at a special meeting of the said Council on the 9th day of December, 1905.

THE following special order, made by the Eketahuna County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901."
EKETAHUNA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901," the Eketahuna County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £100, authorised to be raised by the Eketahuna County Council, under the provisions of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901," for the construction of the Hamua-Rongomai-Makakah Road, the said Eketahuna County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1½d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Hamua-Rongomai-Makakah Road Special-rating District, comprising Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 20A, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29 (reserve), Block II, Mangaone S.D.; and Sections 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17, 18, and Allotment No. 1 of Section 19, Block III, Mangaone S.D.; and Section 20, Block XIV, Mangahao S.D.: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The interest to be paid on such loan is at the rate of 4 per cent. per annum. The cost of raising the loan and the interest for the first year to be paid out of the loan.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Eketahuna was impressed hereon by the Chairman in the presence of—

THE following special order, made by the Egmont Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901."

EGMONT ROAD BOARD.
Special Order striking Rate.
NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting held on Saturday, the 2nd December, 1905, the following resolution was passed:
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901" (and all other powers, if any, thereunto enabling it), the Egmont Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the loan of £500, authorised to be raised by the Egmont Road Board, under "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901," for the purpose of forming and metalling the Smart and Dorset Roads in the County of Taranaki in the parts where the said roads are at present unformed and unmetalled and are within the boundaries over which the said Board has control, the said Egmont Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 5½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Smart and Dorset Roads Special-rating District, comprising the particulars as advertised and to be seen at the office of the Board, Brougham Street, New Plymouth; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the said loan is paid off.
Notice is hereby given that the Egmont Road Board proposes to confirm the foregoing resolution as a special order at a meeting of the Board to be held at the office of the Board, Brougham Street, New Plymouth, at 1.30 p.m. on Saturday, the 13th day of January, 1906.

I, Thomas Rowe, Chairman of the Egmont Road Board, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was adopted at a meeting of the Board held at the office of the Board, Brougham Street, New Plymouth, on the 2nd December, 1905, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting, duly advertised, on the 15th January, 1906, at the office of the Board, Brougham Street, New Plymouth, in accordance with the provisions of "The Road Boards Acts Amendment Act, 1905."

WAIMATE ROAD BOARD.
Special Order making Special Rate
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901," the Waimate Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £120, authorised to be raised by the Waimate Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and metalling the unmetalled portion of the Upper Glenn Road within the Central and Southern Subdivisions of the Waimate Road District, the said Waimate Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Glenn Road Special-rating District, comprising Sections 46, 47, 50, 51, Block XIV, Kaupokonui Survey District; and Sections 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, and part Section 40, Block II, Waimate Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of January and the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The interest to be paid is at the rate of 4 per centum per annum.
