Volunteer Regulations amended.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by "The Defence Act. 1886," and "The Defence Act Amendment Act, 1900," I, William Lee, Baron Plunket. the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby amend in the manner and to the extent set forth in the Schedule hereto such of the General Regulations of the Defence Force of New Zealand made on the eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and six, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the same date, as are set forth in the said Schedule. And I do hereby declare that such amended regulations shall come into force on the seventeenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and six.

SCHEDULE.

DEFENCE RIFLE CLUBS.

REGULATION 534.-Delete portion from word "no," on fourth line, to the end, and substitute "and for the purpose of competitions in the district up to 100 miles."

Appointing Commissioners to classify Pastoral Runs in Westland Land District.

Trustees for the Dannevirke Public Cemetery appointed.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of "The Cemeteries Act, 1882," I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint ETHELBERT ALBERT RANSOM to be a Trustee, in the place of Matthew Henderson, resigned, and the Rev. HANS MADSEN RIES, JAMES NEAGLE, and EDWARD LLOYD to be additional Trustees, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Dannevirke Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the Rev. Edward Robertshaw and James Allardice, previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this fourteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and six.
