THE following special order, made by the Pukekura Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

PUKEKURA ROAD BOARD.
Special Order making Special Rate.
THAT, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £3,000, authorised to be raised by the Pukekura Road Board, for payment of its contribution to the cost of construction of the Cambridge High-level Bridge over the Waikato River at Cambridge, the said Pukekura Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Pukekura Road District, comprising part of Block I, Maungatautari Survey District; parts of Blocks IX, XIII, and XIV, Cambridge Survey District; parts of Blocks III and IV, Punui Survey District; and Block XVI and parts of Blocks VII, X, XI, XII, XIV, and XV, Hamilton Survey District; all situated in the County of Waipa: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of January and the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The above resolution was duly passed at a special meeting of the Pukekura Road Board held on the 4th day of April, 1906, and confirmed at a special meeting of the said Board held on the 3rd day of May, 1906.

AKITIO COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order.
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Akitio County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £500, authorised to be raised by the Akitio County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for metalling the Waihi-Akitio Road, the said Akitio County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 2d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Waihi-Akitio Loan District, comprising Sections 1A, 1B, 2, 3B, 4A, 4B, Block II; Sections 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10A, 10B, 11, 11A, 12, 13, 13A, and Lot 17, Block III, Mount Cerberus Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of March and the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of the special order adopted at a special meeting of the above Council held on the 27th day of April, 1906, and confirmed at a special meeting held on the 16th day of June, 1906.

WESTPORT BOROUGH COUNCIL.
Special Order making Special Rate.
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” and “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and the amendments of both of these Acts respectively, the Westport Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,620, authorised to be raised by the Westport Borough Council, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for the repayment of the liability incurred by way of overdraft towards the completing the Corporation waterworks, the said Westport Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¼d. in the pound on the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property within the boundaries of the said Borough of Westport, as set out in the Proclamation creating the said borough in the New Zealand Gazette of the 17th day of April, 1873; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 3rd day of January and the 3rd day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The above resolution was duly passed at a special meeting of the Westport Borough Council held on the 28th day of May, 1906, and confirmed at a special meeting of the said Council held on the 27th day of June, 1906.
