Special Order made by the Council of the County of Masterton.

THE following special order, made by the Masterton County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

MASTERTON COUNTY.

Special Order making Special Rate.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Masterton County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest, at the rate of £4 per centum per annum, and other charges on a loan of £100, authorised to be raised by the Masterton County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming the Homewood-Kaiwhata Road, the said Masterton County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 3½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Homewood-Kaiwhata Road Loan Special-rating District, comprising Section 903, Block XIV, Rawa Survey District (600 acres); parts of Sections 775, 780, 781, 782, Blocks II and III, Kaiwhata Survey District (1,001 acres); Small Grazing-run 56, Blocks XIV, Rewa, and II, Kaiwhata Survey Districts (1,440 acres); Sections 32, parts of 781, 777, 778, 775, 779, 780, 776, part 853, Block III (2,177 acres 3 roods 36 perches); Section 12, Block IV (360 acres); Subdivisions 1, 2, 3, 4, 5A, 5B, 6, and 7, Ngapuketarua, Subdivisions 1 and 5, Tutae-hauhau, Sections 771, 772, 773, parts of Sections 767, 768, 769, 770, Small Grazing-run 1, Blocks II, IV, and V (4,749 acres 3 roods 6 perches); and Subdivision 5C, Ngapuketarua, Blocks II and V, all in the Kaiwhata Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Passed at a special meeting of the said Council, this 14th day of December, 1905; confirmed this 11th day of January, 1906.

BOROUGH OF SOUTH INVERCARGILL.

Special Order levying a Special Rate.

Notice is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Council of the Borough of South Invercargill, duly called, and held at the Council Chambers, Elles Road, South Invercargill, on Thursday, the 14th day of December, 1905, the following resolution (intended to operate as a special order) was duly passed, and at another special meeting of the said Council, duly called, and held at the Council Chambers aforesaid on Thursday, the 18th day of January, 1906, the said resolution was duly confirmed, which said resolution is as follows:—

In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Council of the Borough of South Invercargill hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £7,500, authorised to be raised by the Council of the Borough of South Invercargill, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for constructing, providing, and establishing certain public works and engaging in certain undertakings, all of which are more fully expressed and set forth in the proposal for the said loan published in the Southland Times and Southland Daily News newspapers of the 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd days of November, 1905, the said Council of the Borough of South Invercargill hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1½d. in the pound upon the rateable unimproved valuation of all rateable property of the Borough of South Invercargill; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 30th day of June and the 31st day of December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Special Order made by the Waitara West Road Board.

THE following special order, made by the Waitara West Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

SPECIAL ORDER MADE BY THE WAITARA WEST ROAD BOARD.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Waitara West Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £700, authorised to be raised by the Waitara West Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing the Waitara Road, the said Waitara West Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¾d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Waitara Road Special-rating District, comprising Suburban Sections 1, 2, and 3, Huirangi Town, and part of Suburban Sections 4 and 5, Huirangi Town, part Section 71, part Section 85, all of which are situated in Block IX, Waitara Survey District; Sections 88, 89, 132, 37, 38, 70, Block V, Waitara Survey District; part Section 33, part Section 30, part Section 29, part Section 127, part Section 128, Sections 129, 130, 131, 114, 115, 116, 117, and Subsections 1 and 2, being part of 127, Block III, Paritutu Survey District; Sections 69 and 78, Block VII, Paritutu Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off; and that the interest on such loan is to be at the rate of 4 per centum per annum.

I hereby certify that the above special order was duly adopted at a special meeting of the Waitara West Road Board held on the 13th day of December, 1905, and was duly confirmed at a special meeting of the said Board held on the 17th day of January, 1906.
