THE following special order, made by the Raglan County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order.
SPECIAL Meeting.—Resolved on the 24th day of November, 1905:—
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Counties Act, 1886,” the Raglan County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £400, authorised to be raised by the Raglan County Council, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and “The Counties Act, 1886,” for the purpose of forming and metalling portions of the Tuakau–Raglan Road, the original loan of £4,000 being insufficient to complete the work, the said Raglan County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅛d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Special rating District of Onewhero, boundaries of which are as follows—Commencing at a point where the northern boundary-line of Section 21, Block VIII, Maioro Survey District, intersects the coast-line; thence N.E. following S. bank of Waikato River to road-line adjoining Section 95, Onewhero Parish; thence southerly following E. boundaries of Sections 95, 96, 166, 149; thence along northern lines of Sections 150, 156, to road-line, and following said road-line to eastern line of Section 157; thence southerly along eastern boundary-lines of Sections 157, 33, 22, and Opuatia No. 4, and thence westerly along southern boundaries of Opuatia No. 4 and No. 5c to eastern line of Section 90; thence S.W. along said line to road-line, following said road-line S. and W. to S.E. corner of Section 98; thence following southern boundary of Section 98 to eastern boundary of Section 109, following said line and southern line of Section 109 to intersection of Putataka Parish line; thence northerly along said road to road-line; thence along road-line, along southern boundaries of Putataka No. 1a, No. 1b, No. 1c, to southern boundary-line of Section 27, following said line, and along northern boundary of Section 21 to point of commencement: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring date during the currency of such loan, to be payable half-yearly on the 2nd day of January and 2nd day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Counties Act, 1886,” the Raglan County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,500, authorised to be raised by the Raglan County Council, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and “The Counties Act, 1886,” for the purpose of forming and metalling portions of the Ohiro (£1,300) and Murray’s Roads (£200), the said Raglan County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¾d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Special-rating District of Pukekawa, the boundaries of the special-rating district being as follows—Beginning at the north-western corner of Section 75, Block VIII, Onewhero; thence along the Waikato River to north-western corner of Section 78; thence along western boundary of same section; thence east along road-line to north-western corner of Section 149A; thence along western boundary of same section and Section 150A to road-line; thence south and east along road-line to river-bank; thence along river-bank to Opuatia Parish line at the north corner of Section 4; thence along parish-line to the south-eastern corner of Section 8; thence along road-line to northern corner of Opuatia No 3A; thence along western boundary-line of same section to the Opuatia Stream; thence along the Opuatia Stream to the boundary of the Onewhero Special-rating District; then along the said boundary to point of commencement: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, to be payable half-yearly on the 2nd January and 2nd July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
