Special Orders made by the Moa Road Board.

THE following special orders, made by the Moa Road Board, are published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

MOA ROAD BOARD.
Notice is hereby given that the above Board intends at a special meeting to be held on Saturday, 6th January, 1906, to confirm the following special order:—
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Moa Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £400, authorised to be raised by the Moa Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of metalling the Durham Road West from end of present metal westwards, the said Moa Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¼d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Durham Road West Special-rating District, comprising Sections 9, 10, 13 (in two subdivisions), 14, 15, 16, 140, 141, 142, 143 (in two subdivisions), 144, 145 (in two subdivisions), 146, 149, 150, 151, 152, 153, 154, 155, 156, 157, 188, 189, Block VIII, Egmont S.D.; 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, Block XI, Egmont S.D.; 1, 2, 185, 186, 187, Block XII, Egmont S.D.: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, at 5 per centum per annum, or until the loan is fully paid off.
All expenses in connection with raising this loan to be paid out of loan-money.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and its amendments, the Moa Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £300, authorised to be raised by the Moa Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming, metalling, and deviating through Section 100, Block IV, Egmont S.D., the Lepper Road north of the Hursthouse Road, the said Moa Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1³⁄₅d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Lepper Road North Special-rating District, comprising Sections 98, 99, 253, Block XI, Paritutu S.D.; part 100, Block IV, Egmont S.D.: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, at 5 per centum per annum, or until the loan is fully paid off.
All expenses in connection with raising the loan to be paid out of loan-money.

(Hua and Waiwaikaiho Hundred); 90–1, 97–8, 104–5, 112, 6–10, 16–20, 21–30, 31–40, 51–60, 61–70, 75–80, 46–50, 88–9, 95–6, 109, 92–3, 99–100, 106–7, 128–9, 113–4, 121, 125, of Section 62, Block III, Egmont S.D. (Hua and Waiwaikaiho Hundred), Egmont Village: and that such special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, at 5 per centum per annum, or until the loan is fully paid off.

FEATHERSTON COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Featherston County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,000, authorised to be raised by the Featherston County Council, under the provisions of the aforementioned Act, for the following works within the Martinborough Town District—that is to say, 116 chains formation and metalling from west to south boundary, and complete covering with concrete abutments of creek fronting house occupied by Mrs. Knight; 100 chains footpaths, with concrete kerbing and metalling; 1,256 chains road formation, and metalling and culverting where required—the said Featherston County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⁷⁄₁₆d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Martinborough Town District, comprising all that portion of the Township of Martinborough containing by admeasurement 1,280 acres, and described in Proclamation dated the 25th day of March, 1905, published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 30th day of March, 1905, as follows:—
All that area in the Wellington Land District, commencing at a point on the Huangarua Road being the intersection of the production of the north-western boundary-line of Section No. 674 through part A, Block 9, Huangarua Survey District, with the production of the north-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 704; thence towards the north-east by the north-eastern boundary of the said road to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 704; thence towards the north-west by a right line to the centre of the said Huangarua Road, being the south-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 94, part A, of the said Block 9, Huangarua Survey District; again towards the north-east generally by the middle of the said Huangarua Road and the middle of the Puruatanga Road to the intersection of the last-mentioned road with the road forming the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 765; thence towards the south-east by the said road forming the south-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 765, 730, 735, 736, 741, 742, 759, 760, 761, and 762 to a point opposite the south-western corner of the last-mentioned section; thence towards the south-west by a right line from the centre of the said road to the southernmost corner of Section No. 762; thence by the south-western boundary-lines of Sections 762, 758, the abutment of Regent Street, Section No. 754, and Section No. 750 to its westernmost corner; thence by the production of the said south-western boundary-line of the said Section No. 750 across the Otaraiā Road to a point being the intersection of the said production with the production of the north-western boundary-line of Section No. 699; thence by a right line across Dublin Street to the westernmost corner of the said Section No. 699, and thence by the north-western boundary-lines of the last-mentioned section and Section No. 695 to its northernmost corner; thence by a right line across Otaraiā Road to the westernmost corner of Section No. 667; thence by the north-western boundary-line of the last-mentioned section to the south-western boundary-line of Section No. 723; again towards
