Land temporarily reserved in the Auckland Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres and 1 perch, more or less, being Section No. 59 of Block XV, Tokatoka Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by the North Road; towards the south-east by the Awaroa Road; towards the south-west by Section No. 31 of Block XV, Tokatoka Survey District; and towards the north-west by Section No. 42 of Block XV aforesaid: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 54898/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered purple. For a site for a public school.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-fourth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and six.

Bounded towards the north by Section No. 8, Block III, Motu Village Extension; towards the east by Queen Street; towards the south by Section No. 10 of the said Block III; and towards the west by Section No. 7 of Block III aforesaid: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 51274/45, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a site for a public hall and library.

Bounded towards the north-east by the Tuna Road; towards the south-east by Section No. 50, Block IX, Hautapu Survey District; towards the south-west by the Powhakarua No. 1 (Native) Block; and towards the north-west by Section No. 33 of the said Block IX: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 48137/34, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red. For a scenic reserve.

ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 341 acres, more or less, being Section No. 6, Block XVI, Linkwater Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by right lines for a distance of 5411·5 links from the north-easternmost corner of Pastoral Run No. 65, Block XVI, Linkwater Survey District, to the northern boundary-line of a reserve set apart for the growth and preservation of timber by Warrant dated the 26th day of July, 1881, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 61, Province of Marlborough, of the 28th day of July, 1881, page 959; thence towards the south by the said northern boundary-line of the said reserve in a westerly direction, a distance of 2044 links, to its north-westernmost corner; thence towards the east by the said reserve, and by a line in continuation of its western boundary-line in a southerly direction, a distance of 12717 links, to the northern boundary-line of Section No. 9, Block IV, Cloudy Bay Survey District; thence again towards the south by the said northern boundary-line, a distance of 2196·8 links; and thence towards the west by Pastoral Run No. 65 aforesaid, a distance of 15160 links, to its north-easternmost corner: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 54884/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red. For the growth and preservation of timber.
