Land temporarily reserved in the Otago Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Otago Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land so intended to be temporarily reserved.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 263 acres 2 roods 20 perches, more or less, being Section No. 5, Block XII, Rankleburn Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 1, Block XII, Rankleburn Survey District; towards the east by Section No. 2 of the said Block XII; towards the south-east by the road reserve along the left bank of the Pomahaka River; and towards the west by Sections Nos. 11 and 9 of Block XII, Glenkenich Survey District: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 43888/298, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a plantation reserve.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-fourth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and six.

Lands temporarily reserved in the Southland Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Southland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 26 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 1 to 6 inclusive and 17 to 21 inclusive, Block V, Town of Waimatuku. Bounded towards the north-east by the Limestone Plains Road, towards the south-west by the main road, and towards the north-west by Sections Nos. 7 and 16 of Block V, Waimatuku Township. For a site for a public school.

All that area in the Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 36 perches, more or less, being Section No. 11, Block V, Town of Waimatuku. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 12, Block V, Town of Waimatuku; towards the south-east by Section No. 10 of the said Block V; towards the south-west by the main road; and towards the north-west by Poole Street. For a site for a public school.

All that area in the Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 30 perches, more or less, being Section No. 13, Block V, Town of Waimatuku. Bounded towards the north-east by the Limestone Plains Road; towards the south-east by Section No. 14, Block V, Waimatuku Township; towards the south-west by Section No. 10 of the said Block V; and towards the north-west by Section No. 12 of Block V aforesaid. For a site for a public school.

As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 54911/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-fourth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and six.

ALL that area in the Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 346 acres 3 roods 23 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 9 to 20 inclusive of Block IX, the southern portions of Sections Nos. 21, 28, and 29 of Block IX, Section No. 53 of Block I, and the southern portions of Sections Nos. 54, 67, and 68 of Block I, all of the Wakaiā Survey District; as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 52163/34, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red. For primary education.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-seventh day of February, one thousand nine hundred and six.

Lands permanently reserved.

PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

And whereas by the two-hundred-and-thirty-sixth section of the said Act it is provided that land temporarily reserved under the said two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section may, at the expiration of one month but not later than six months after the publication in the Gazette of notice of such temporary reservation, be permanently reserved, and that notice of such permanent reservation shall be published in the Gazette:

And whereas the lands specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto were, by the Warrants the dates of which are specified in the third column of the said Schedule, and the notifications of which were published in the Gazette specified in the fourth column, temporarily reserved under the authority of the said Act for the purposes specified in the second column of the said Schedule:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the said Act, do hereby permanently reserve the lands so temporarily reserved as aforesaid, and enumerated in the first column of the Schedule hereto, for the purposes specified in the second column of the said Schedule, being the same purposes for which the said lands were so temporarily reserved as aforesaid.
