And whereas by an order of the Native Land Court, made upon investigation of title, and bearing date the twenty-third day of June, one thousand eight hundred and eighty, certain aboriginal Natives are declared to be the owners of the Mataora Block, within which the said land is situated:
And whereas, as required by “The Public Works Acts Compilation Act, 1905,” a map has been prepared showing accurately the position and extent of the said land, and such map is hereto attached:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred by “The Public Works Acts Compilation Act, 1905,” and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the land shown upon the said map and described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said Native school, and shall vest in His Majesty the King, as from the fourteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and seven.

I N exercise of the powers conferred upon him by “The Teachers’ Superannuation Act, 1905,” His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, acting under the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby make the regulation set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
EVERY qualified person who, under section 4 of “The Teachers’ Superannuation Act Amendment Act, 1906,” elects to become a contributor to the Teachers’ Superannuation Fund shall, not later than the 30th day of June, 1907, make application to the Secretary for Education in the following form:—
FORM OF ELECTION TO BECOME A CONTRIBUTOR TO THE TEACHERS’ SUPERANNUATION FUND.
To the Secretary for Education, Wellington.
Pursuant to section 4 of “The Teachers’ Superannuation Act Amendment Act, 1906,” I state that I am permanently employed for not less than twenty hours a week in the Education service as a teacher in a school for the deaf. I hereby elect to become a contributor to the fund under “The Teachers’ Superannuation Act, 1905,” and authorise the necessary contribution to be deducted from my pay in accordance with section 7 thereof.
Further, I hereby declare that the following particulars are correct to the best of my knowledge and belief :—

At the Government House, at Wellington, this seventeenth day of December, 1906.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority vested in him under “The Land and Income Assessment Act, 1900,” and “The Land-tax and Income-tax Act, 1906,” His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and determine that the respective duties leviable under the said Acts by way of income-tax shall be paid in one sum on Thursday, the thirty-first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and seven.
And, in further pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority aforesaid, and with the like advice and consent as aforesaid, His Excellency doth also determine that the place where the said duties of income-tax shall be payable shall be the office of the Commissioner of Taxes, at the Government Buildings, Wellington, and that notice to the foregoing effect shall be given by the said Commissioner accordingly.

Regulations under “The Government Advances to Workers Act, 1906.”

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
I N pursuance and exercise of all powers and authorities vested in him by “The Government Advances to Workers Act, 1906” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby make the following regulations under and for the purposes of the said Act, that is to say :—
REGULATIONS.
- The application for a loan on urban or suburban land under “The Government Advances to Workers Act, 1906,” shall be in the form numbered one in the Schedule hereto, and shall be accompanied by a statutory declaration in the form numbered two therein.
- The Board shall determine whether the land offered as security for a loan is or is not urban or suburban land.
- Mortgages shall be prepared and completed by the Superintendent free of charge to mortgagors, except the payment of cash disbursements, which shall be deducted from the advance.
- The following fees shall be payable in connection with mortgages:—
Fee for partial or total discharge of mortgage .. 5 0
Fee for execution of consent by the Superintendent to any document .. .. .. 5 0
Fee for production of title-deeds held by the Superintendent .. .. .. 5 0
- No application for an advance shall be proceeded with until the fee for the valuation of the security has been duly paid by the applicant.
- The valuation and inspection fees to be paid by the applicant whether the loan is granted or not shall be—
