WAIPUKURAU TOWN BOARD.
Special Order.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and any amendments thereto, the Waipukurau Town Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,200, authorised to be raised by the Waipukurau Town Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of establishing and constructing a system of lighting the houses and streets of the Waipukurau Town District, the Waipukurau Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 3½d. in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property of the Waipukurau Town District, comprising all that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District in Blocks XIV and XV, Waipukurau Survey District, as shown upon the plan deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, under No. S.G. 54516, thereon bordered red; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 31st day of January and the 31st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above special order was made at a special meeting of the Waipukurau Town Board held on the 5th day of November, 1906, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting held on the 3rd day of December, 1906.

TATARAIMAKA ROAD BOARD.
Special Order making Special Rate, Upper Pitone Road, 10-per-cent. Loan, £150.
RESOLVED that, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act and its amendments, the Tataraimaka Road Board hereby by way of special order resolve as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £150 (such loan being 10 per cent. of the original £1,500 loan), authorised to be raised by the Tataraimaka Road Board, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and “The Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1903,” for the purpose of metalling the Upper Pitone Road for a further distance of 19 chains, the said Tataraimaka Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅞d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property of the Pitone Road Special-rating District, as defined by special order for the original loan of £1,500 made on the 30th day of October, 1905; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

PIAKO COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Piako County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,256, authorised to be raised by the Piako County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, from the Colonial Treasurer, for a period of twenty-six years, at 5 per cent. per annum, for erecting the Cambridge High-level Bridge, the said Piako County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅛d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Piako County, comprising all lands within the boundaries thereof as constituted and established by the Counties Acts; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I, Thomas Gavin, Chairman of the Piako County Council, do hereby certify that the above special order was passed at a special meeting of the Piako County Council held on the 31st day of October, 1906, and was duly confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the said Council held on the 28th day of November, 1906.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Raglan County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £450, authorised to be raised by the Raglan County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of metalling the road from the Pirongia Creek to the Harapepe Creamery, in the Te Pahu Special-rating District, the said Raglan County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1¾d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Te Pahu Special-rating District.
