In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by “The Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act, 1877,” His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby incorporate the members of the Wairoa County Agricultural and Pastoral Society, and such persons as shall hereafter be admitted members of the said society agreeably to the rules of the said society and the provisions of the said Act, into a body corporate under the style and title of “The Wairoa County Agricultural and Pastoral Society.”

Maori Land vested in the Aotea District Maori Land Board under the Provisions of Section 4 of “The Maori Land Settlement Act Amendment Act, 1906.”

At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day of December, 1906.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
Whereas by section four of “The Maori Land Settlement Act Amendment Act, 1906,” it is provided that where any Maori land is, in the opinion of the Native Minister, not properly occupied by the Maori owners, but is suitable for Maori settlement, such land may, upon the recommendation of the Board, be dealt with under the provisions of sections eight to fifteen of “The Maori Land Settlement Act, 1905,” as modified by the aforesaid section four: And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is land which, in the opinion of the Native Minister, is not properly occupied by the Maori owners, but is suitable for Maori settlement: Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance of all powers and authorities conferred by the hereinbefore-recited Acts, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby declare that the said land is vested in the Aotea District Maori Land Board for an estate in fee-simple in possession, subject nevertheless to all valid encumbrances, liens, and interests affecting the same, to be held and administered by the said Board for the benefit of the Maori owners in accordance with the provisions of the said sections eight to fifteen of “The Maori Land Settlement Act, 1905,” as modified by section four of “The Maori Land Settlement Act Amendment Act, 1906.”
SCHEDULE.
Morikau No. 1 Block.
All that piece or parcel of land known as the Morikau No. 1 Block, situated in the Rarere and Tauakira Survey Districts, in the Wellington Land District, containing 7,200 acres approximately. Bounded towards the north-west generally by the Ohoutahi and Otaranoho Blocks; towards the north-east generally by the Haromai Stream, Mangoihe River, and the Marihopi Stream; towards the south-east generally by the Mairehau No. 2 Block, the Ranana Block, and the Kaitara Stream; and towards the south-west by the Wanganui River: excluding from the above area the Ikaroa Nos. 1 and 2, Parapara, and Ohoutuiti Blocks on the Wanganui River.

Revoking Regulations for Loading and Stowage of Ballast, and making others in lieu thereof.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day of December, 1906.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
Whereas it is enacted by section two hundred and twenty of “The Shipping and Seamen Act, 1903,” that the Governor in Council may from time to time make regulations respecting the loading and stowage on any British ship of ballast of any description, and may prescribe a fine not exceeding fifty pounds for breach of such regulations:
And whereas certain regulations respecting the loading and stowage of ballast were made by the Governor in Council on the twenty-eighth day of June and the twenty-second day of October, one thousand nine hundred and six, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the fifth day of July and the twenty-fifth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and six:
And whereas it is desirable to revoke the said regulations of the twenty-second day of October, one thousand nine hundred and six, and to make other regulations in lieu thereof:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the hereinbefore-recited power and authority, and of every other power and authority enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby revoke the said regulations of the twenty-second day of October, one thousand nine hundred and six, and doth hereby make the following regulations in lieu thereof:—
REGULATIONS.

When the ballast of a British ship is composed wholly or partly of shingle or sand it shall be the duty of the master to have it properly levelled down and protected from slipping by close-fitting and properly secured shifting boards running fore and aft in the amidships section of the ship. Such boards shall be carried above the level of the ballast to a height equal to a quarter of the beam of the ship in that part of the hold where the ballast is stowed, or close up to the first intervening deck. If the ballast does not extend to the bulkheads of the hold, transverse closely fitting boards shall be fitted across the hold on a level with the top of the ballast to prevent it slipping away fore and aft of the ship.

Any person committing a breach of the above regulation shall be liable to a fine not exceeding fifty pounds.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Uritawa Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day of December, 1906.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
Whereas by section two of “The Domain Boards Act, 1904” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to “The Public Domains Act, 1881,” control of such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made under the provisions of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” on the twenty-ninth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and six, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and six, the land described in the Schedule hereto was brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of “The Public Domains Act, 1881”:
And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:
