NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of “The Public Works Act, 1894.”

N OTICE is hereby given that the Christchurch City Council, on behalf of the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch, proposes to execute the undermentioned works in Sydenham Ward, namely:—
(1.) Widen a portion of Windmill Road.
(2.) Make a new street to connect Southampton Street with Southey Street and Longfellow Street.
(3.) Extend Cadogan Street and Burlington Street so as to connect them with Huxley Street by means of a new street.

And further notice is hereby given that, for the purposes of the aforesaid works, the said City Council requires to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto.

And further notice is hereby given that surveys have been made and plans have been prepared showing the lands required to be taken for the said works, together with the names of the owners and occupiers of such lands, so far as they can be ascertained; and copies of such plans are deposited at the Town Clerk’s office, situate at the Christchurch City Council Chambers, Oxford Terrace, Christchurch, and are open for inspection by all persons during ordinary office hours—namely, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., except on Saturdays, when such hours are 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
