Notice of Intention to change the Purpose of a Reserve in
the Auckland Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” it is,
amongst other things, enacted that the Governor
may declare his intention to change or alter the dedication
of any public reserve now or hereafter vested in His Majesty
or the Governor for any of the purposes named in Class II.
of the Schedule to the said Act, whether the same be granted
or not; and if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be
expedient to change the purpose of such reserve or any part
thereof from the purpose or presumed purpose for which it
was set apart to any other purpose, the Governor may, by
notice gazetted, declare his intention to make such change,
and in such notice declare the manner and terms in which
the same is intended to be so made:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby, in
exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested
in me by “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” aforesaid,
declare my intention to change the specific purpose of the
reserve described in the first column of the Schedule hereto
from that named therein to that named in the second
column thereof.
SCHEDULE.

containing by admeasurement 2 roods, more
or less, being Section No. 55A, Parish of
Maramarua. Bounded by a line commencing
at a point on the southern side of a public
road, the said point being distant 547·8 links
measured along a line running in a north-
westerly direction and bearing N. 53° 15′ W.
from the junction of the said public road with
the road forming the south-eastern boundary
of Section No. 55, Maramarua Parish, and
proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction
along a line bearing S. 25° 48′ W., 283·6 links;
thence in a north-westerly direction along a
line bearing N. 64° 12′ W., 170 links; thence
in a north-easterly direction along a line bear-
ing N. 25° 48′ E., 300 links; and thence in a
south-easterly direction by the said public
road, 171·6 links, to the point of commence-
ment: be all the aforesaid linkages more or
less: as the same is delineated on the plan
marked S.G. 51852, deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, and thereon bordered red. Re-
served for a site for a public hall in New

this twelfth day of September, one thousand nine

Land temporarily reserved in the Taranaki Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section
of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the
Governor may from time to time, either by general or parti-
cular description, and whether the same has been surveyed
or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that
the same may be then held under pastoral license, any
Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of
the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and
pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by
the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale
the land in the Taranaki Land District described in the
Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said
Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land
so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by
admeasurement 12 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section
No. 22, Block IV., Mimi Survey District. Bounded towards
the north-west by Section No. 13, Block IV., Mimi Survey
District; towards the north-east by the road reserve along
the left bank of the Tongaporutu River; towards the east
generally and towards the south by the road reserve along
the left bank of the Mangaongaonga Stream; and towards
the west by the Mokau Road; as the same is delineated on
the plan marked S.G. 54185, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the
Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured purple.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-third day of September, one thousand
nine hundred and five.

PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section
of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the
Governor may from time to time, either by general or parti-
cular description, and whether the same has been surveyed
or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that
the same may be then held under pastoral license, any
Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of
the purposes in the said section mentioned:

All that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing
by admeasurement 3 acres, more or less, being section known
as Waipiro A, situated in Block XVI., Mata Survey District.
Bounded by a line commencing at peg No. 1 (shown on
plan hereinafter referred to), distant 11024·8 links in a
south-easterly direction and bearing S. 6° 8′ 13″ E. from
Trig. Station P. 18, in Block XII., Mata Survey District, and
proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction along a line
bearing S. 11° 23′ E. a distance of 500 links; thence in a
south-westerly direction along a line bearing S. 78° 37′ W. a
distance of 600 links; thence in a north-westerly direction
along a line bearing N. 11° 23′ W. a distance of 500 links;
and thence in a north-easterly direction along a line bearing
N. 78° 37′ E. a distance of 600 links to peg No. 1, the
place of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more
or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G.
52235/15, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District,
and thereon bordered red. For a cemetery reserve.

this twenty-first day of September, one thousand
