Declaring Road-lines through Land in the Flaxbourne and Starborough Settlements respectively to be closed.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS a report has been received from the Surveyor-General from which it appears that the roads described in the Schedule hereto are unformed and unused, and that they intersect land acquired under โThe Land for Settlements Consolidation Act, 1900,โ and are not suitable for the subdivision of such land :
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of section sixty-nine of the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do by this notice hereby close the roads hereinafter described, and I do hereby declare that they shall thereupon become subject to the said Act.
