of Blocks XII. and XI. to the extreme south-west corner
of the latter; thence due south along the boundary of
Blocks XIV., Coromandel, and III., Hastings, to its
intersection with the Thames County; thence westerly
along the boundary of the said county to the coast; thence
along the line of the coast on the west to the point of
commencement.

  1. The Mercury Bay Riding.—Bounded commencing on
    the north-west at the intersection of boundary-line between
    the Coromandel and Otama Survey Districts and the
    coast; thence east and south by the coast-line to the
    boundaries between Thames and Coromandel Counties;
    thence westerly along the said boundary to intersection
    with the Coromandel Riding; thence north to north-west
    corner of Block XV., Coromandel Survey District; thence
    east to north-east corner of Block XVI., Coromandel
    Survey District; and thence north to point of commencement.

The Port Charles Riding shall be represented by one
member, the Coromandel Riding shall be represented by
four members, and the Mercury Bay Riding shall be
represented by three members.

That this special order do take effect as from the 1st day
of April, 1906.

The foregoing special order of the Coromandel County
Council has been duly made, the resolution having been
duly passed at a special meeting of the said Council on the
15th day of May, 1905, and confirmed at a subsequent
special meeting on the 19th day of June, 1905, public notice
of the time and place fixed for such subsequent meeting and
of such resolution having been duly given.

The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and
Inhabitants of the Coromandel County was hereto affixed
by order of the said Council, this 19th day of June, 1905.

THE following special order, made by the Te Horo Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

TE HORO ROAD BOARD.

Special Order.

THAT this Board do now make a special order to the following effect: That this Board does now form a special district to be called Special District No. 5, comprising all lands rateable within the Te Horo Road District, for the purpose of raising a loan of £350 under “The Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1903,” for the construction of the Waihoanga Bridge, the same being within the Special District No. 5, and for the striking of a special rate to pay interest on the said loan.

Loan Proposals. — That this Board borrow from the Colonial Treasurer, under “The Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1903,” the sum of £350 for the construction of the Waihoanga Bridge within the Special District No. 5. (1.) To make a special rate of 7½d. in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable properties within the said special district, to pay for interest on the said loan, for forty-one years, under subsection (c), clause 8, of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1903.” (2.) That the cost of raising the loan and the first year’s interest be paid out of loan.

I, the undersigned, hereby declare that the above special order was made by the Te Horo Road Board at a special meeting held on the 4th August, 1905, and in accordance with “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the following is the result of a poll taken on the 2nd day of August, 1905, on a proposal to raise a special loan of £700 (the full particulars of which were published by advertisement in the Wyndham Farmer of 27th June, 1905): For the proposal, 55 votes; against the proposal, 18 votes.

I hereby declare the proposal carried.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section 2 of “The Towns Main Streets Act, 1902,” I, Thomas Young Duncan, Minister of Lands, do hereby authorise the laying-off of York Avenue, in the Town of Sandford, Auckland Land District, of a width of not less than 66 ft., instead of 99 ft. as prescribed by section 17 of “The Land Act, 1892.”
