Recreation Reserve in Auckland Land District brought under
"The Public Domains Act, 1881."
PLUNKET, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this seventh
day of August, 1905.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by
the twenty-fourth section of "The Public Reserves
Act, 1881," I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony,
do hereby order and declare that the reserve for re-
creation in the Auckland Land District described in the
Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought
under the operation of and declared to be subject to the
provisions of "The Public Domains Act, 1881"; and such
domain shall hereafter be known as the Mangonui Domain,
and be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner
directed by the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
MANGONUI DOMAIN.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Allot-
ment No. 265 of the Town of Mangonui, containing by
admeasurement 5 acres 3 roods 33 perches, more or less.
Bounded towards the north by a public road running
along the foreshore of Mangonui Harbour; towards the east
by Allotment No. 15 of the Town of Mangonui aforesaid,
258 links; towards the south-east by Allotments Nos. 26
and 25 of the said Town of Mangonui, 430 links; and
towards the south-west generally by a public road, 801, 147,
and 378 links, to the point of commencement: be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on
the plan marked S.G. 53803, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and there-
on coloured red.

Powers delegated under "The Lunatics Act, 1882."

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this seventh
day of August, 1905.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the third section of "The Lunatics Act,
1882," it is enacted, inter alia, that the Governor,
by Order in Council, may from time to time direct that all
or any of the powers, functions, duties, and authorities by
the said Act vested in or required to be performed by the
Colonial Secretary shall be exercised by any person the
Governor may think fit:
And whereas it is expedient that the same powers should
be vested in the person and in the manner hereinafter
expressed:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and con-
sent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth
hereby direct that the powers granted to the Colonial
Secretary by the sixth section of the said Act shall be
exercised by
VICTOR GRACE DAY,
of Christchurch, within the Provincial District of Canter-
bury, in the said colony.

Extension of Time for Preparation of County Rolls, &c.,
County of Westland.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this seventh
day of August, 1905.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS it has been made to appear that, owing to
unavoidable circumstances, the preparation of the
rolls for the County of Westland, and the taking of certain
steps consequent on such preparation, cannot be made and
taken within the times limited by "The Counties Act,
1886," and it is expedient to extend the said times respec-
tively:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the
powers conferred upon him by "The Counties Act Amend-
ment Act, 1903," and acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth
hereby order and declare that the several dates mentioned
in the Schedule hereto shall be the respective dates for
taking the several steps set out in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.

For preparing the defaulters' list and the rolls for ridings
within the County of Westland: Until the 26th day of
August, 1905. -
Time for which such list and rolls shall be open for in-
spection: From the 28th day of August, 1905, to the 16th
day of September, 1905. -
Time for appeals against the said rolls: Until the
30th day of September, 1905. -
Revision Courts may sit for hearing applications
with reference to the said rolls, and adjourn: Until the
6th day of October, 1905. -
Time when the said rolls, having been duly corrected
and signed, shall come into force: On the 9th day of
October, 1905.

Validating the Public Notification in connection with a Loan
of Β£6,000 applied for by the Weber County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this seventh
day of August, 1905.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Weber County Council lately proposed
to raise a loan of six thousand pounds, under "The
Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901," and Acts amending the
same, for the purpose of forming and making roads through-
out the County of Weber: And whereas the public notifi-
cation of the meeting of ratepayers to consider the said loan
was published in the Dannevirke Daily Press, but was not
published not less than seven clear days or given for a day
not more than ten days after the last publication of such
notice before such meeting, as required by section nine of
"The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901": And whereas it
appears that the ratepayers have not been misled by such
irregularity, and it is expedient to validate the same:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the
powers conferred by section ten of "The Local Bodies'
Loans Amendment Act, 1902," and acting by and with the
consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth
hereby declare that such public notification of the intention
to raise the said loan shall be deemed and taken to be as
valid as though the said notification had been properly pub-
lished, and that the proceedings relative to the said loan
shall not be called in question by reason only of the
irregularity aforesaid.

Notice of Intention to change the Purpose of a Portion of a
Reserve in the Otago Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by "The Public Reserves Act, 1881," it is,
amongst other things, enacted that the Governor
may declare his intention to change or alter the dedication
of any public reserve now or hereafter vested in His Majesty
or the Governor for any of the purposes named in Class II.
of the Schedule to the said Act, whether the same be granted
or not; and if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be
expedient to change the purpose of such reserve or any part
thereof from the purpose or presumed purpose for which it
was set apart to any other purpose, the Governor may, by
notice gazetted, declare his intention to make such change,
and in such notice declare the manner and terms in which
the same is intended to be so made :
