Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by "The Public Reserves Act, 1881," aforesaid, declare my intention to change the specific purpose of the portion of the reserve described in the second column of the Schedule hereto from that named in the first column to that named in the third column thereof.

SCHEDULE.

First Column. Description and Purpose of Original Reserve.
Second Column. Description of Portion of Reserve intended to be changed.
Third Column. Intended Purpose.
All that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 38:6 perches, more or less, being Section No. 6 of 7, Block XCV., Town of Oamaru. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 2 of 7, 226:5 links; towards the south-east by Thames Street, 180:7 links; towards the south-west by part of Section No. 7, 226:5 links, and by Section No. 7 of 7, 123:5 links; and towards the north-west by Severn Street, 127 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 53931, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Municipal.
Reserved for a site for public buildings or other purposes of the General Government, in the New Zealand Gazette of the 20th January, 1869.

Changing the Purpose of a Portion of a Reserve in Canterbury.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of a reserve heretofore duly set apart for plantation purposes, being a reserve within Class I. of "The Public Reserves Act, 1881," and such land has not been vested in trust in any society, body corporate, or trustees: And whereas it is expedient that such land shall be appropriated for a public recreation-ground, being a reserve within Class III. of the aforesaid Act:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the second section of "The Public Reserves Act Amendment Act, 1889," do by this notification declare that the said land shall, from and after the tenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and five, be appropriated for a public recreation-ground under Class III. of "The Public Reserves Act, 1881"; and I do hereby direct that this notification shall be published in the New Zealand Gazette.

SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 140 acres, more or less, being Section No. 3718 (in red), Blocks VIII. and XII., Rangiora Survey District (formerly part of Reserve No. 1579). Bounded towards the north by Section No. 11316 and Reserve No. 3710; towards the east by the Beach Reserve, 20 chains from high-water mark; towards the south by Reserve No. 807; and towards the west by Section No. 34845, a road-line, and Section No. 11318: save and except a road 1 chain wide intersecting the above-described area: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 37197A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was heretofore duly set apart for scenic purposes. being a reserve within Class II. of "The Public Reserves Act, 1881," and such land has not been vested in trust in any society, body corporate, or trustees: And whereas it is expedient that such land shall be appropriated for a public recreation-ground, being a reserve within Class III. of the aforesaid Act:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the second section of "The Public Reserves Act Amendment Act, 1889," do by this notification declare that the said land shall, from and after the tenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and five, be appropriated for a public recreation-ground under Class III. of "The Public Reserves Act, 1881"; and I do hereby direct that this notification shall be published in the New Zealand Gazette.

SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 22 acres 3 roods 8 perches, more or less, being portions of Sections Nos. 180, 181, and 182, Parish of Waipa. Bounded by a line commencing at the south-eastern corner of Section No. 179, Parish of Waipa, and proceeding thence in a north-westerly direction along the north-eastern boundary-line of the said Section No. 179 a distance of 509 links; thence along a line in a north-easterly direction, bearing N. 86° 54' E., a distance of 1171 links; thence along a line in a south-easterly direction, bearing S. 68° 56' E., a distance of 906 links; thence along a line in a south-easterly direction, bearing S. 9° 50' E., a distance of 650 links; thence along a line in a north-easterly direction, bearing N. 85° 9' E., a distance of 1295 links, to a point on the south-western boundary-line of Section No. 184, Parish of Waipa, distant 552 links north-westerly along the said boundary-line from the south-western corner of said Section No. 184, on the Waingaro-Ngaruawahia Road; and thence westerly by the last-mentioned road to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 53336, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this fourth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and five.

Land temporarily reserved in the Land District of Otago.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of "The Land Act, 1892," it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Land District of Otago described in the Schedule hereunder written, for scenery purposes.

SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 37 acres 2 roods 28 perches, more or less, being Section No. 40, Block XII., Tautuku Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 4 of the said Block XII.; towards the east by Section No. 2; towards the south by the Catlin's-Waikawa main road; and towards the west by Section No. 3: as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked S.G. 53568, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this fourth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and five.
