HANGATIKI RIDING.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being that portion of Waitomo County bounded towards the north generally by the Otorohanga Riding hereinbefore described from the north-western corner of Hauturu East C No. 2B Block to the north-eastern boundary of the Waitomo County as described in the First Schedule to “The Waitomo County Act, 1904”; thence towards the north-east by the north-eastern boundary of the said Waitomo County to Trig. Station No. 1641 on Rangitoto; thence by Clifton County as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 7, of the 26th January, 1899, for a distance of 220 chains; thence towards the south-west by a right line to the easternmost corner of Section No. 4, Block IV., Otanake Survey District; thence by the said Section No. 4 and the production of its north-eastern boundary-line to the northern side of the road forming the southern boundary of Section No. 11, Block XVI., Orabiri Survey District; thence by the road forming the southern boundary of the last-mentioned section and of Section No. 1, Block XV., to Section No. 7; thence by Sections Nos. 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 2A, Block XV. aforesaid, and the north-western boundary-line of the last-mentioned section produced to the North Island Main Trunk Railway Reserve; thence towards the west by the said North Island Main Trunk Railway Reserve to Te Kumi No. 7 Block; thence by the said Te Kumi No. 7 Block to the Mangaokewa River; thence by the said Mangaokewa River to the northern boundary of Piha Block; thence by the said Piha Block and Hauturu East No. 1E Block to the southern boundary-line of Section No. 1, Block XI., Orahiri Survey District; thence by the last-mentioned section and its eastern boundary-line produced across the Waihohonu Road to the south-eastern corner of Section No. 18, Block VII., Orahiri Survey District; and thence by the last-mentioned section and Section No. 16, Block VII. aforesaid, to the north-western corner of Hauturu East C No. 2B Block, the place of commencement.

WAITOMO RIDING.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being that portion of Waitomo County bounded towards the north-east generally by the Te Rauamoa and Otorohanga Ridings respectively hereinbefore described from the eastern boundary of Kawhia County as described in the Second Schedule to “The Waitomo County Act, 1904,” to the north-western corner of Hangatiki Riding hereinbefore described; thence towards the east generally by the said Hangatiki Riding to a point on the eastern side of the North Island Main Trunk Railway Reserve in line with the northern boundary line of Section No. 2A, Block XV., Orahiri Survey District; thence by a right line to the south-eastern corner of Te Kumi No. 12 Block; thence by the south-eastern boundary-lines of Te Kumi Nos. 12 and 3 Blocks to the eastern boundary of Tapuiwahine Block; thence by the last-mentioned block and Pakeho Nos. 28 and 27 Blocks and again by the said Pakeho No. 28 Block to the south-eastern corner of Hapenui No. 1B Block; thence by the southern boundary-lines of the last mentioned block to the north-western corner of Pokirangi Block (No. 6474); thence by the last-mentioned block to the southernmost corner of Kinohaku East No. 2 No. 11 Block; thence by the south-western boundary-line of the last mentioned block and the south-western boundary-line of Kinohaku East No. 2 No. 12 Block and its production in a north-westerly direction to the south-eastern boundary-line of Kinohaku West No. 3B Block (Kawakawa); thence by the southern boundary-line of the last mentioned block and the southern boundary-line of Section No. 6, Block XVI., Kawhia South Survey District, to the eastern boundary of Awakino County as described in the Second Schedule to “The Waitomo County Act, 1904”; and thence towards the west generally by the said Awakino County and Kawhia County as described in the Second Schedule to “The Waitomo County Act, 1904,” to the place of commencement.

MAIROA RIDING.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being that portion of Waitomo County bounded towards the north generally by the Waitomo Riding hereinbefore described from the eastern boundary of Awakino County as described in the Second Schedule to “The Waitomo County Act, 1904,” to the western boundary of Tapuiwahine Block; thence towards the east generally by the last-mentioned block to the Mangarama Stream; thence by the said Mangarama Stream to Pukenui No. 2C Block; thence by the last-mentioned block and by Pukenui No. 1 Block and Marae tawa No. 2B Block to the north-eastern corner of Section No. 15, Block VI., Otanake Survey District; thence towards the south-east generally by the last-mentioned section and the production of its northern boundary-line to the north-eastern corner of Section No. 2, Block VI. aforesaid; thence by the last-mentioned section to the south-eastern corner of Pakeho No. 24 Block; thence by the southern boundary-line of the last-mentioned block to Pakeho No. 20 Block; thence by Pakeho Nos. 20, 15, and 16 Blocks to the north-eastern corner of Kinohaku East No. 3D Block (Arapae); thence by the last-mentioned block and Kinohaku East No. 4F Block to Section No. 5, Block XII., Maungamangero Survey District; thence by the last-mentioned section and Section No. 4, Block XII. aforesaid, to the Mangaotaki Road; thence by a right line to the easternmost corner of Section No. 2, Block XI., Maungamangero Survey District; thence by the Awakino County as described in the Second Schedule to “The Waitomo County Act, 1904,” to the middle of the Mahoenui–Kawhia Road; and thence towards the west generally by the said Awakino County to the Waitomo Riding hereinbefore described, the place of commencement.

PAEMAKO RIDING.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being that portion of Waitomo County bounded towards the north-west generally by the Mairoa Riding hereinbefore described from the eastern boundary of the Awakino County as described in the Second Schedule to “The Waitomo County Act, 1904,” to Pukenui No. 1 Block; thence towards the east generally by the said Pukenui No. 1 Block to its southernmost corner; thence by the eastern boundary-line of Marae tawa No. 1 Block to the middle of the Mokau River; thence towards the south-east generally by Clifton County as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 7, of the 26th January, 1899, to the confluence of the Mangaotaki River with the Mokau River; and thence towards the west generally by the Awakino County aforesaid to the place of commencement.

TE KUITI RIDING.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being that portion of Waitomo County bounded towards the north generally by the Waitomo Riding hereinbefore described from the eastern boundary of Mairoa Riding hereinbefore described to Hangatiki Riding hereinbefore described; thence towards the north-east by the said Hangatiki Riding to Clifton County as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 7, of the 26th January, 1899; thence towards the east and towards the south generally by the said Clifton County to Paemako Riding hereinbefore described; and thence towards the west generally by the said Paemako Riding and by Mairoa Riding aforesaid to the place of commencement.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twentieth day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and five.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” and its amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the owners of the land mentioned in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Vincent County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Lauder Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as
