A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the sixth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation of the twenty-eighth day of August, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-four, in so far as it relates to the sections of land described in the Schedule hereto, and do declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the said sections are hereby withdrawn from lease as village settlements.
SCHEDULE.
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—MATAPOURI VILLAGE SETTLEMENT.
Sections Nos. 13 and 18, Block VI., Kapara Survey District.

Authorising the Laying-off of Private Streets in the Borough of Mornington of a Width less than 66 ft., but not less than 40 ft.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of July, 1905.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” and its amendments, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf. His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby authorise the Council of the Borough of Mornington to permit the laying-off of private streets in the Borough of Mornington of a width less than sixty-six feet, but not less than forty feet, within the limits defined in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, situate in the Borough of Mornington, being parts of original Sections Nos. 79, 80, and 81, Block VI., Town District, containing by admeasurement 6 acres 3 roods 15 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north by the road known as Mill Road from the eastern boundary of Block IX., Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District, to the District Road, intersecting the said Sections Nos. 79, 80, and 81; thence towards the east by the said District Road to original Section No. 78 of the said Block VI.; thence towards the south-west by the said Section No. 78 to Block IX., Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District; and thence towards the north-west by the said Block IX., Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District, to Mill Road, the place of commencement: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 45090, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red.

The Land Titles Protection Act.—Consenting to an Application to the Chief Judge of the Native Land Court in pursuance of Section 39 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894.”
PLUNKET, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of July, 1905.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by an order of the Native Land Court, made the fourteenth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine, on the investigation of title to the Native land known as Waikawa Village, Section No. 12, situate in the Linkwater and Arapawa Survey Districts, in the Provincial District of Marlborough, and containing 4 acres and 12 perches, Paora Paneireia was declared to be the owner of the said land: And whereas it has been alleged that the said order was made through a mistake or error within the meaning of section 39 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894”: And whereas the Governor in Council, after due inquiry made, is satisfied that a prima facie case has been established, and that it would be inexpedient to dispose of it by remedial legislation or any other procedure which would obviate litigation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of all powers and authorities in that behalf vested in him by “The Land Titles Protection Act, 1902,” or otherwise howsoever, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby consent to the making of an application to the Chief Judge of the Native Land Court, in pursuance of the provisions of the said section 39 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894,” by or on behalf of any person alleging that he is affected by such mistake or error for the purpose of remedying the same or the effect of the same respectively as the nature of the case may require: And that the validity of the said order of the Native Land Court may be the subject of an order of the Chief Judge under the said section 39 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894.”
