Special Order made by the Drury Road Board.

THE following special order, made by the Drury Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

DRURY ROAD BOARD.
Special Order.

In exercise of the powers conferred by “The Road Boards Act, 1882,” and “The Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1902,” the Drury Road Board hereby resolves as follows: viz., That the interest on the special loans of £974 3s. 6d. and £50 13s. 3d., raised by the Drury Road Board under “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1886,” and “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” respectively (such special loans being secured by special rates extending over the whole of the Road Board district) for the construction of road-works, be paid from the general fund of the Board.

I hereby certify that the above special order was duly passed at a meeting of the Drury Road Board held on the 25th day of March, 1905.

Special Order made by the Mataongaonga Road Board.

THE following special order, made by the Mataongaonga Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

MATAONGAONGA ROAD BOARD.
Special Order making Special Rate.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Mataongaonga Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,800 authorised to be raised by the Mataongaonga Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and metalling and providing the necessary culverts for a road lying between the Purua Stream and the junction of the River-bank Road with the No. 3 Line of road, the Mataongaonga Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property in the Mataongaonga Road District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I, Ernest Barns, Clerk to the Mataongaonga Road Board, do hereby certify that the above special order was duly made by the Mataongaonga Road Board at a meeting of the said Board held on Saturday, the 5th day of November, 1904.

Special Order made by the Manganui Road Board.

THE following special order, made by the Manganui Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

MANGANUI ROAD BOARD.
Special Order, Stanley Road Loan of £200.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in them in that behalf by “The Road Boards Act, 1882,” and “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and its amendments, the Manganui Road Board do hereby resolve as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £200 authorised to be raised by the Manganui Road Board under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and its amendments, for the purpose of metalling the Stanley Road from the end of the present metal to Mr. Savage’s house, and to metal the approaches to the Makino Bridge on the Stanley Road, to pay out of such loan the cost of raising it, the said Manganui Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property in the Stanley Road Special-rating District, comprising Sections 3, 4, part 8 (110 acres), 10, 11, 15, and 16, Block XI., Huiroa Survey District; and that such special rate be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly, on the 1st day of January and July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off, the rate of interest to be 5 per cent. per annum.

Special Order made by the Council of the Borough of Petone.

THE following special order, made by the Petone Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

PETONE BOROUGH COUNCIL.
Special Order.

I, GEORGE THOMAS LONDON, Mayor of the Borough of Petone, do hereby certify that at a special meeting of the Borough Council of the Borough of Petone held on the 27th day of February, 1905, the resolution hereinafter set out was duly passed; and, after the same had been duly advertised in accordance with the provisions of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” regulating the making of special orders, such resolution was duly confirmed at a meeting of the Council of the said borough held on the 27th day of March, 1905; such resolution being in the words and figures following:—

“In pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by ‘The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,’ and ‘The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,’ the Council of the Borough of Petone does hereby resolve as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £5,000 authorised to be raised by the Petone Borough Council, under the provisions of ‘The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,’ for the purpose of erecting municipal offices with shops on Sections 1, Jackson Street, and 2 and part 3, Bay Street, D.P. 51, Section 5, Hutt District, the Council of the Petone Borough hereby makes and levies a special rate of 2d. in the pound sterling on the annual rateable value of all the rateable property within the boundaries of the said Borough of Petone, as set out in the Proclamation creating the said borough published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 5th day of July, 1888; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan during the period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Dated at Petone, this 1st day of April, 1905.
