THE following special order, made by the Otamatea County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

OTAMATEA COUNTY COUNCIL.
“The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Otamatea County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,000, authorised to be raised by the Otamatea County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for forming and metalling various portions of the main roads within the districts hereinafter named, the said Otamatea County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅔d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Ridings of Wairau, Whakapirau, Paparoa, and Road District of Matakohe, comprising all the rateable property contained within the boundaries of the said Ridings of Wairau, Whakapirau, Paparoa, and Road District of Matakohe; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of March and the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I, George Frederick Linnell, Chairman of the Otamatea County Council, do hereby certify that the foregoing is a copy of a special order duly made and passed at a special meeting of the Otamatea County Council held on the 9th day of October, 1905, and duly confirmed at a meeting of the said Council held on the 22nd day of November, 1905. In witness whereof the common seal of the Otamatea County Council has been hereunto affixed, this 22nd day of November, 1905.

WAITOTARA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Copy of special order made by the Waitotara County Council on Monday, the 6th November, at a special meeting, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting held on Monday, the 4th December, 1905:—
That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Waitotara County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £250, at 4½ per cent., for thirty-two years, authorised to be raised by the Waitotara County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for part cost of building two bridges across the Okehu Stream on the Pukerimu Road, the said Waitotara County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅜d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all property in the Pukerimu Bridge Special-rating District, comprising part of Sections 11, 12, and 76, Block 10, Nukumaru Survey District, containing 508 acres; and part of Sections 10, 14, 15, and 41, Block 10, Nukumaru Survey District, 372 acres: and that such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of March and the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-two years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
Certified to be a true copy of a resolution adopted at a special meeting of the Waitotara County Council held on the 6th November, 1905, and confirmed at a meeting of the Council held on the 4th December, 1905.

WEBER COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Weber County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £6,000, authorised to be raised by the Weber County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and making roads throughout the County of Weber, the said Weber County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅔d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Weber County, comprising all that area of land in the Land District of Hawke’s Bay, bounded towards the south-west by the Akitio County, as described in the Schedule to “The Akitio County Act, 1898,” from the mouth of the Waimata Stream to Trig. Station No. 52c (Wahataura): thence towards the north-west and north by the Puketoi No. 6A Block, Puketoi No. 6B Block, in Block XVI., Tahoraiti Survey District; by Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4 of Block XIII., Mangatoro Survey District; and by Sections 2 and 4 of Block XIV., Mangatoro Survey District: again towards the north and north-east by Sections 3 and 1 and Small Grazing-run 75 of Block XV., Mangatoro Survey District; by Ngapaeruru 7F No. 2 Block, Ngapaeruru 7C Block, and Ngapaeruru 7D Block, Block XVI., Mangatoro Survey District; by Ngapaeruru 7E Block of Block I., Tautane Survey District, and by the Manawaangiangi and Mangamaiare Blocks: towards the east by Blocks 58 and 82 of Block II., Tautane Survey District, 85, 62, 65, 68, and 81 of Block VI., Tautane Survey District, and 84, 79, 75, 27, 86, and 83 of Block X., Tautane Survey District; by the Pakuka Stream, and Section 3 of Block X. aforesaid to the sea: and towards the south-east by the sea to the mouth of the Waimata Stream aforesaid: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of January and the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
