THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Land District, is declared to be brought under the operation
of and to be subject to the provisions of the said “Public
Domains Act, 1881”:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor, by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
Colony of New Zealand, doth hereby, and in respect of the
land hereinafter mentioned, which shall be known as
Kuirau Domain, delegate all the powers conferred by the
said Act, except the powers conferred by sections five and
twelve thereof, for the period of ten years from the date
hereof (unless previously altered or revoked under the said
Act), to the Minister in Charge of the Department of
Tourist and Health Resorts.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 12 acres 2 roods 37 perches, more or less,
being Section No. 3 of Block LV. of the Town of Rotorua.
Bounded towards the north-east by the Tauranga-Rotorua
Road, 932 links, and by Ranolf Street, 1031 links; thence
towards the south-east by a right line, 892 links; thence
towards the north-west and south-west by the Tarewa
Block, 382 and 732 links; thence again towards the north-
west by Sections Nos. 2 and 1 of Block LV. of the Town of
Rotorua, the abutment of Kuirau Street, and by Sections
Nos. 5 and 4 of Block LIII. of said town, 606 links; thence
again towards the north-east by Sections Nos. 2 and 3 of the
last-mentioned block, 175 links; and thence again towards
the north-west by Section No. 3 aforesaid, 200 links: be all
the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is deli-
neated on the plan marked S.G. 49265, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellin-
ton, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered
red.

Declaring Portion of Alfredton—Weber Road, in the County
of Weber, to be a County Road.

RANFURLY, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
fifth day of January, 1904.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE R. J. SEDDON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him
by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excel-
lency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the
portion of the Alfredton—Weber Road described in the
Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order
in Council, be a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that road in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, com-
mencing at its junction with the Wellington Land District
at the south-eastern boundary of Section 16, Block VI.,
Weber Survey District, and proceeding thence generally
northerly to its junction with Gordon’s Road, in the Town-
ship of Weber, situated in Block V. of the Weber Survey
District, in the County of Weber: as the same is delineated
on the plan marked R. 5161¹, deposited in the office of the
Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington
Land District, and thereon coloured scarlet lake, and
marked A.B.

Consenting to closing Roads, Block VI., Patetere North
Survey District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
fifth day of January, 1904.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE R. J. SEDDON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section twelve, subsection one, of “The
Public Works Acts Amendment Act, 1900,” it is
enacted that a local authority shall not declare any county
or district road to be stopped, and such road shall not be
deemed to be stopped, until the consent thereto of the
Governor by Order in Council gazetted is obtained:

And whereas the Piako County Council has applied for
such consent in respect to the roads described in the
Schedule hereto:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the above-
in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise
enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth
hereby consent to the Piako County Council closing the
roads mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

Declaring Langdale Estate Roads, in Castlepoint County, to
be County Roads.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
fifth day of January, 1904.

Present:

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him
by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excel-
lency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the
roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after
the date of this Order in Council, be county roads.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that road, together with the deviation thereof, both in
the Wellington Land District, commencing at its junction
with the Blairlogie—East Coast Road, in Subdivision 11ₐ,
Section 6, Block III., Rewa Survey District, and proceeding
thence generally northerly and westerly until it junctions
with the Waimati—Tenui Main Coach Road, in Section 270,
Block XV., Mangapakeha Survey District, the whole of the
said road being in the Castlepoint County; as the same is
delineated on the plan marked R. 5161⁵, deposited in the
office of the Chief Engineer of Roads at Wellington, in
the Wellington Land District, thereon coloured pink and
marked A.B; together with deviation thereof, also coloured
pink and marked C.D. thereon.

Also, all that road in the Wellington Land District, com-
mencing at its junction with the aforesaid Langdale Road,
at the north-east boundary of Subdivision 4 of the Lang-
dale Estate, Block XIV., Mangapakeha Survey District, and
proceeding thence generally south-westerly to the boundary
dividing Subdivision 9, Langdale Estate, and Section 269,
Block XIV., Mangapakeha Survey District, the whole of
the said road being in the Castlepoint County; as the same
is delineated on the plan marked R. 5161⁶, deposited in the
office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the
Wellington Land District, coloured green and marked I.J.
thereon.

Also, all that road in the Wellington Land District, com-
mencing at its junction with the aforesaid Langdale Road, at
the north-western corner of Subdivision 8, Langdale Estate,
Block III., Rewa Survey District, and proceeding thence
south-easterly until it joins the Whareama River at the
