Addition to Te Aroha Hot Springs Domain brought under
“ The Public Domains Act, 1881.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of January, 1904.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE R. J. SEDDON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-fourth section of “ The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for public recreation in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of “ The Public Domains Act, 1881”; and such domain shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner directed by the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 116 of Block IX., Aroha Survey District, containing by admeasurement 41 acres 2 roods, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by a right line being the production in a south-easterly direction of the north-eastern boundary-line of that portion of Section No. 15 of Block IX., Aroha Survey District, permanently reserved for public recreation in the New Zealand Gazette No. 94, of 21st December, 1894, page 1954, for a distance of 758 links; thence towards the south-east by a right line being the production of the south-eastern side of Burke Street, 3482 links; thence towards the south-west by King Street, Town of Te Aroha, 1000 links; thence towards the north-west by Wild Street, 500 links; thence again towards the south-west by the abutment of Wild Street and by Sections Nos. 8 and 9 of Block XXXIV., Town of Te Aroha, 300 links; thence again towards the north-west by Section No. 13 of the said Block XXXIV., 400 links; thence again towards the south-west by the said Section No. 13 and by the abutment of Wilson Street, 309 links; and thence again towards the north-west by the recreation reserve aforesaid, 2708 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland.

and Health Resorts in respect of Te Aroha Hot Springs
Domain.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by “ The Public Domains Act, 1881,” His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby revoke a certain Order in Council, dated the seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and three, making delegation of certain powers in manner as therein appears; and doth hereby, with the like advice and consent, and in respect of the land hereinafter mentioned, which is known as Te Aroha Hot Springs Domain, delegate all the powers conferred by the said Act, except the powers conferred by sections five and twelve thereof, for the period of ten years from the date hereof (unless previously altered or revoked under the said Act), to the Minister in Charge of the Department of Tourist and Health Resorts.
SCHEDULE.
TE AROHA HOT SPRINGS DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being Sections Nos. 16, 116, and part 15, Block IX., Aroha Survey District, containing by admeasurement 107 acres 2 roods, more or less. Bounded towards the north-west by the north-west boundary-line of Section No. 16, Whitaker Street, Town of Te Aroha, and by that boundary-line produced in a north-easterly direction, 2264 links; thence towards the north-east by a right line at right angles to the last-mentioned line for a distance of 3010 links; thence towards the south-east by a right line, 3482 links, being the production of the south-eastern side of Burke Street, Town of Te Aroha, to King Street; thence towards the south-west by King Street; thence again towards the north-west by Wild Street; thence again towards the south-west by the abutment of Wild Street, Sections Nos. 8 and 9, Block XXXIV., Town of Te Aroha; thence again towards the north-west by Section No. 13 of the said Block XXXIV. to the easternmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence again towards the south-west by the north-eastern boundary-line of the said Section No. 13, and that boundary-line produced in a north-westerly direction to the north-west side of Wilson Street; thence again towards the south-east by Wilson Street to Whitaker Street; thence again towards the south-west by Whitaker Street to the place of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland.

Bounded towards the north-east by the Tauranga—Rotorua Road, 932 links, and by Ranolf Street, 1031 links; thence towards the south-east by a right line, 892 links; thence towards the north-west and south-west by the Tarewa Block, 382 and 732 links; thence again towards the north-west by Sections Nos. 2 and 1 of Block LV. of the Town of Rotorua, the abutment of Kuirau Street, and by Sections Nos. 5 and 4 of Block LIII. of said town, 606 links; thence again towards the north-east by Sections Nos. 2 and 3 of the last-mentioned block, 175 links; and thence again towards the north-west by Section No. 3 aforesaid, 200 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49265, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red.

WHEREAS by the twelfth section of “ The Public Domains Act, 1881,” it is, inter alia, enacted that the Governor, by Order in Council, may from time to time delegate all or any of the powers by the said Act conferred, save as is therein mentioned, to any person or persons, for any period, and subject to such stipulations as may be specified in such order, and that every such delegation may from time to time in like manner be altered or revoked: And whereas, pursuant to “ The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” by an Order in Council of even date herewith, the land described in the Schedule hereto, situate in the Auckland
