A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the sixth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the sections of land enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be and are hereby withdrawn from sale as village-homestead allotments.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1894,” for a certain work, to wit, for the purpose of waterworks in the Borough of New Plymouth :
And whereas the New Plymouth Borough Council has laid before the Governor the memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act :
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said waterworks, and shall thereupon vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of New Plymouth.

Revoking the Delegation of Powers under “The Cemeteries Act 1882 Amendment Act, 1885,” to the Wallace County Council, in respect of the Wairio Cemetery.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of January, 1904.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE R. J. SEDDON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by an Order in Council issued on the twenty-second day of December, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five, the powers conferred upon the Governor by section six of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” as to the appointment and removal of trustees, were delegated to the Council of the County of Wallace, in pursuance of section two of “The Cemeteries Act 1882 Amendment Act, 1885,” in respect to the cemetery described in the Schedule hereto :
And whereas it is expedient to revoke the said delegation :
Now, therefore, His Excellency Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby revoke the delegation to the Council of the County of Wallace of the powers conferred upon the Governor by section six of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” in respect to the Wairio Cemetery, described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being Section No. 189, Wairio Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 52 of the said survey district, 664·5 links; towards the south-east by Section No. 53 of the said survey district, 301 links; towards the south-west by a road-line, 664·5 links; and towards the north-west by a reserve, 301 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Lands and Survey Office, Invercargill.
