bridge shall be borne by the Council of the County of Rangitikei in the proportion of forty-one per centum, the Council of the County of Manawatu in the proportion of forty-one per centum, and the Bull’s Town Board in the proportion of eighteen per centum of the said cost respectively:
And I do hereby also further direct that any contribution hereby required to be made as aforesaid by the Council of the County of Manawatu and by the Bull’s Town Board shall be paid from time to time respectively, in the proportions hereinbefore prescribed, out of the funds of the said County and Town Board respectively, within a period of thirty days after demand in writing made by or on behalf of the Council of the County of Rangitikei; and all such payments shall be made from time to time to the Clerk of the said Council for and on account of such Council.
SCHEDULE.
The bridge over the Rangitikei River near the Township of Bull’s, on the road from Bull’s to Sanson, including the protective works thereto extending a distance of 24 chains (marked A.B. B.C. on plan), and the approaches thereto extending for a distance of 1 chain on the Manawatu County side of the said bridge, and for a distance of 4 chains on the Rangitikei County side of the said bridge: as the position of the said bridge and protective works and approaches are more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 919, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly; Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twelfth day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and four.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” and its amendments, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, with the consent of the owners and of the mortgagee of the lands hereinafter mentioned, and with the consent of the Patea County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said lands are situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as taken for a road the lands in Momahaki Survey District hereinafter described, that is to say,—
