DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately subsisting between us, the undersigned Thomas Smith Manson, Quinton Campbell Manson, Marion Smith, Agnes Blatchford, and John Manson, carrying on business at Teddington, in the Provincial District of Canterbury, as Sheep-farmers, under the style or firm of “The Kains Hill Estate,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 1st day of April, 1904.

All debts due to or owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said Thomas Smith Manson and Quinton Campbell Manson, who will in future carry on the said business on their own account.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership formerly subsisting between Charles Alexander Baker, Horace Danvers Baker, and William Ward Baker, under the name, style, or firm of “Baker Bros.,” in the business of Land and Estate Agents, at Auckland and Wellington, was mutually dissolved as from the 30th September, 1903.

And notice is hereby given that the said Charles Alexander Baker and Horace Danvers Baker, on their own account, will, as from the said date, carry on at Wellington the business of Auctioneers and Estate Agents, under the name, style, or firm of “Baker Bros.”; and as from the same date the said William Ward Baker will, on his own account, carry on at Auckland the like business, under the name, style, or firm of “Baker Bros.”

NOTICE is hereby given that, consequent upon the resignation of Mr. William Parker, of Wellington, from the Board, nominations for a candidate to fill such vacancy were, in accordance with “The Pharmacy Act, 1898,” and the regulations thereunder, invited by me, to close at my office, corner of Featherston and Brandon Streets, Wellington, at 4 p.m. on Monday, 25th April, 1904; and the nomination of Mr. George William Wilton, of Wellington, being the only nomination of a candidate to fill such vacancy, I declare the said George William Wilton duly elected to fill such vacancy.

In the matter of F. H. Wood and Sons (Limited).

At an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened, and held at Carterton on the 19th day of April, 1904, the following special resolution was passed, and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the members of the said company, also duly convened, and held at the same place on the 5th day of May, 1904, the following resolution was duly confirmed:—

“That the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of ‘The Companies Act, 1903’; and that Mr. W. B. Chennells be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above company, held on the 13th day of May, 1904, the following extraordinary resolution was passed:—

“That, in view of its having been proved to its satisfaction that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, it is advisable to wind up the same voluntarily, and that Charles John Wilson be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

NOTICE is hereby given, on behalf of the Ashburton and North Canterbury United Charitable Aid Board, being the local body having the management and control of the Old Men’s Home, Ashburton, that application will be made to the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled at its next session for leave to introduce a Bill to be called “The Stephen Cole Moule Trustees Empowering Act, 1904.”

The objects of the proposed Bill are to authorise and empower the trustees of the will of Stephen Cole Moule, deceased, to make provision out of the income of the estate for the children of Stephen Cole Moule the younger,
