Special Order made by the Tuhikaramea Road Board.

THE following special order, made by the Tuhikaramea Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

TUHIKARAMEA ROAD BOARD.
In pursuance and exercise of powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and its amendments, 1902, the Tuhikaramea Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £200, authorised to be raised by the Tuhikaramea Road Board, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for the purpose of erecting the school bridge, estimated to cost £130, and to complete the Rukuhia Swamp Road, estimated to cost £70, the said Tuhikaramea Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¼d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property as shown on the valuation roll of the Tuhikaramea Road District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

THE following special order, made by the Raglan County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

RAGLAN COUNTY.
Special Order.
In pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and “The Counties Act, 1886,” the Raglan County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £4,000, authorised to be raised by the Raglan County Council under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for the purpose of forming and metalling portions of the Tuakau-Raglan Road, the said Raglan County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¾d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Special-rating District of Onewhero, comprised within the following boundaries: Commencing at a point where the northern boundary-line of Section 21, Block VIII., Maioro Survey District, intersects the coast-line; thence north-easterly, following south bank of the Waikato River to road-line adjoining Section 95, Onewhero Parish; thence southerly, following eastern boundaries of Sections 95, 96, 166, 149; thence along northern lines of 150, 156, to road-line, and following said road-line to eastern line of 157; thence southerly along eastern boundary-lines of Sections 157, 33, 22, and Opuatia No. 4; thence westerly along south boundaries of Opuatia No. 4 and No. 5c to eastern line of Section 90; thence south-west along said line to road-line, following said road-line south and west to south-east corner of Section 98; thence following southern boundary of Section 98 to east boundary of Section 109, following said line and south line of 109 to intersection of Putataka Parish line; thence northerly along said road to road-line; thence along road-line along southern boundaries of Putataka No. 1a, No. 1b, and No. 1c, to south boundary-line of Section 27, following said line and along northern boundary of Section 21 to point of commencement: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 2nd day of January and the 2nd day of July in each
and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The above special order was made on the 14th day of October, 1903, and confirmed on the 25th day of November, 1903. Certified by—

THE following special order, made by the Borough of East Invercargill, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

BOROUGH OF EAST INVERCARGILL.
Special Order making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” and “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Borough Council of East Invercargill hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £3,000, authorised to be raised by the Borough Council of East Invercargill, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for the purpose of paying off the special loan of £3,000 heretofore raised by the said Borough Council of East Invercargill, and which will become due on the 1st day of January, 1904, the said Borough of East Invercargill hereby makes and levies a special rate of 8d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Borough of East Invercargill, comprising the private Townships of McMaster’s Estate, Sylvan Bank, Barwheys, and Hallsborough, and contained within the following boundary-lines, namely: Commencing at the north-eastern angle of Section 2; thence south-easterly along the boundary between Sections 2 and 3 of Block I., Invercargill Hundred, 5100 links; thence south-westerly, and thereafter due west, along the northern boundary of public road-line, 2073 links and 1147 links respectively, to Elles Road; thence due north along the eastern boundary of Elles Road, 4050 links; thence due west across said road-line, 100 links; thence due north along the western side of said road-line continued, 915 links; thence north-easterly across said road-line, and along the northern boundaries of Sections 1 and 2 aforesaid, 1619½ links, to starting-point: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of July and the 1st day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of eleven years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WEST WINTON SPECIAL RATE.
THE West Winton River Board proposed and adopted as a special order the following resolution at a meeting held for the purpose in their office, Park Street, Winton, at half-past 7 o’clock on Saturday evening, 5th December, 1903, and directed the seal of the Board to be affixed thereto: -
“In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by ‘The River Boards Act, 1884,’ the West Winton River Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest, at 3½ per cent., and other charges on a loan of £1,000, authorised to be raised by the West Winton River Board under the provisions of ‘The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,’ for the construction of drainage-works in the district, the said West Winton River Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1d. in
