THE following special order, made by the Whangamarino Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

WHANGAMARINO ROAD BOARD.
Notice is hereby given that this Board, at a special meeting held on the 21st December, 1903, made the following special order, viz.:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges for a loan of £3,000, authorised to be raised by the Whangamarino Road Board, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for the purpose of metalling portions of Waerenga Settlement to Wairangi Station Roads, the Whangamarino Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¾d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Waerenga Subdivision Special-rating District, with the exceptions of Sections 481, 499A, 480, 390, 391, 477A, 476, 398, 429, 428; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, at 3½ per centum per annum; all expenses in connection with this loan, and the first half-year’s interest, to be charged to the said loan.”

Martin, Chairman of the Whangamarino Road Board, do hereby certify that the attached special order was duly proposed on the 21st day of November, 1903, and advertised four consecutive weeks in the Auckland Weekly News—viz., 26th November, 3rd, 10th, and 17th December, 1903—and passed on the 21st day of December, 1903, in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”

THE following special order, made by the Waipawa Town Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

WAIPAWA TOWN BOARD.
The following resolution was adopted at a special meeting of the Waipawa Town Board held on Thursday, 5th November, 1903, and confirmed on Thursday, 3rd December, 1903, as a special order:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £300, authorised to be raised by the Waipawa Town Board, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and its amendments, 1902, for extending the main sewer in Great North Road, Waverley and Mathews Streets, and providing flushing-tanks and pipes, the said Waipawa Town Board do hereby make and levy a special rate of ⅛d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the whole of the Waipawa Town District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable in one yearly payment on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off; and that the interest to be paid is at the rate of 4½ per cent. per annum.

That the cost of raising the said loan, but not the first year’s interest, shall be paid out of such loan.

That this special order shall take effect on and from the 1st day of January, 1904; and that a special meeting of the Waipawa Town Board be held on Thursday, 3rd day of December, 1903, at the Board’s office, at 4 p.m., to confirm this resolution.
We hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a special order made on Thursday, the 5th day of November, 1903, and confirmed on Thursday, 3rd day of December, 1903.

THE following special order, made by the Waitemata County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

COUNTY OF WAITEMATA.
SPECIAL ORDER adopted by the Waitemata County Council at a special meeting of the Council held on the 3rd day of April, 1903, and confirmed as a special order at a meeting of the said Council held on the 8th day of May, 1903, viz.:—
“Resolved, that the portion of the Waitemata County known as the Northcote Riding be declared, and the same is hereby declared to be, a district for the purpose of the construction of water-races therein; that the boundaries of such district be those described in the Schedule hereto; that the name of such district be the Northcote Water-supply District; and that the day from and after which such district shall be constituted shall be the 1st day of June, 1903.
“The Schedule.
“All that area in the Provincial District of Auckland, bounded towards the north-east by the north-eastern boundary of Allotment No. 94 of Section No. 1 of the Parish of Takapuna, the north-eastern boundary of Section No. 48, and the south-eastern boundaries of Allotments Nos. 49 and 50 of said Section No. 1, to Shoal Bay; towards the east generally by Shoal Bay to Stokes Point; towards the south-west by the Waitemata Harbour to the south-western angle of Allotment No. 55, also of Section No. 1, of the Parish of Takapuna aforesaid; towards the west generally by the western boundary of Allotment No. 55, the crossing of a road-line 100 links wide, part of the southern, the western, and the northern boundaries of Allotment No. 7, the eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 8 and 9, the crossing of another road of width aforesaid, and the south-western boundary of Allotment No. 96 to its western angle; and towards the north-west by the north-western boundaries of Allotments Nos. 96, 95, and 94 to the place of commencement.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a special order made by the Waitemata County Council on the 3rd day of April, 1903, and confirmed on the 8th day of May, 1903.
