Dismissal to date from 7th September, 1903.

THE following special orders, made by the Napier Borough Council, are published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

NAPIER BOROUGH COUNCIL.
Special Order.—Sanitary Loan of £3,000.
THAT, in accordance with the provisions of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” “The Public Health Act, 1900,” and all other Acts and powers enabling it in that behalf, the Council of the Borough of Napier do hereby authorise by special order the raising of a special loan of £3,000 for the purpose of carrying out certain sanitary works for the conversion of the pan-closets into water-closets and making the necessary drainage connections thereto.
Passed at a special meeting of the Borough Council held on Wednesday, the 20th day of May, 1903.

Special Order.—Abattoirs Extension Loan, £1,000.
THAT, in accordance with the provisions of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” “The Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1900,” and all other Acts and powers enabling it in that behalf, the Council of the Borough of Napier do hereby authorise by special order the raising of a special loan of £1,000 for the purpose of carrying out certain extension and necessary works at the Council’s abattoir at Awatoto.
Passed at a special meeting of the Borough Council held on Wednesday, the 20th day of May, 1903.

THAT the special order authorising the raising of a special loan for £3,000, for the purpose of carrying out certain sanitary works for converting pan-closets into water-closets, and making the necessary drainage connections thereto, passed by the Napier Borough Council at a special meeting of the said Council on Wednesday, the 20th day of May, 1903, be now confirmed.

NAPIER BOROUGH COUNCIL.
Special Order making Special Rate.—Security for Loan of £3,000 (Sanitary Loan).
WEDNESDAY, 2nd September, 1903. Moved by Councillor Edwards, seconded by Councillor Cranby,—
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it on that behalf by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” the Napier Borough Council resolves as follows, viz.: That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £3,000, authorised to be raised by the Napier Borough Council under the provisions of “The Public Health Act, 1900,” for sanitary purposes, the said Napier Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 3d. upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Borough of Napier, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 30th day of June and the 31st day of December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
Passed by the Napier Borough Council at a special meeting on Wednesday, the 2nd day of September, 1903.
