A PPLICATION having been made to me by MARK FRANKCOME NEWMAN, of Manaia, for the issue to him of a provisional certificate of title for Section 16, Block 12, Town of Manaia, contained in certificate of title, Vol. xii., folio 249, and a statutory declaration having been lodged with me of the destruction of such certificate, I hereby give notice that I shall issue the provisional certificate of title as requested at the expiration of fourteen days after the date of the Gazette containing this notice unless in the meantime a caveat be lodged forbidding the same.

THE FERN FLAT PROPRIETARY (LIMITED), (IN LIQUIDATION).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the Fern Flat Proprietary (Limited), held on the 13th October, 1903, and adjourned until the 15th October, 1903, the following resolution was carried unanimously: “That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same; and that George Alfred Hurley be appointed Liquidator, at a remuneration of ten guineas, exclusive of out-of-pocket costs.”

SPECIAL ORDER.

PURSUANT to the provisions of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” section 182, public notice is hereby given of the following resolution passed at a special meeting of the Grey Lynn Borough Council held on Monday, 5th October, 1903, and confirmed at a special meeting of the Borough Council held on Monday, 2nd November, 1903:—

“That the Grey Lynn Borough Council doth hereby, by special resolution intended to operate as a special order, resolve that the existing subdivisions of the borough into wards be abolished, and that the members of the Council in future be nine in number (as at present), exclusive of the Mayor.”
