FEILDING BOROUGH COUNCIL.
Special Order making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” and section 66 of “The Public Health Act, 1900,” the Feilding Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest, at 3½ per cent. per annum, and other charges on a loan of £13,236, authorised to be raised by the Feilding Borough Council, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for sewerage works, the said Feilding Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Borough of Feilding; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above special order was made at a special meeting of the Feilding Borough Council held on the 4th day of June, 1903, and duly confirmed at a meeting of the said Council held on the 2nd day of July, 1903.
In testimony whereof the common seal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Feilding was hereto affixed, this 10th day of July, 1903.

SPECIAL ORDER.
A special order made by the Norsewood Road Board on Monday, the 4th day of May, 1903, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting held on the 8th day of June, 1903:—
“That it be a special order of the Norsewood Road Board that, for the purpose of the payment of interest and sinking fund on a special loan of £350, raised under ‘The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1886,’ and gazetted in the New Zealand Gazette bearing date the 21st day of January, 1892, that the interest and sinking fund upon the said loan of £350 be now paid out of the funds of the General Fund Account of the Norsewood Road Board, as authorised under subsection (2) of section 5 of ‘The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1902.’ That a special meeting of the Norsewood Road Board be held at the Board’s offices, Norsewood, at 7.40 p.m. on Monday, the 8th day of June, 1903, to confirm the above special order.”

MASTERTON COUNTY.
Special Order making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Masterton County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest, at the rate of £3 10s. per centum per annum, and other charges on a loan of £500, authorised to be raised by the Masterton County Council under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for formation and bridges on the Mangaparuparu Road, the said Masterton County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1¾d. in the pound on the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Mangaparuparu Road-formation and Bridge Loan Special-rating District comprised within the following boundaries, that is to say: Commencing at the north-west corner of Section 295, Block IX., Mangapakeha Survey District, and proceeding southwards, bounded by Sections 296, 854, 862, 197, Block IX.; Section 868, Block XIII.; part 2 of 863, part 2 of 874, part 3 of 876, Block X.; Section 289, and part 1 of 865, Block XIV., to a point on the north-west boundary-line of the said part 1 of 865, distant 1506·2 links from the north-west corner of the last-mentioned part section: thence by right lines bearing south 63° 27′ east 6304 links, bearing north 21° 59′ east 420·5 links, bearing north 21° 7′ east 575·2 links, bearing north 18° 3′ east 459·1 links, bearing north 17° 37′ east 491·1 links, bearing north 13° 43′ east 425·5 links, bearing north 29° 20′ east 773·2 links, bearing north 61° 47′ east 499·8 links, to the south boundary-line of Section 878, Block X.: thence by part Section 880, Block X., part Section 880, Section 882, and part Section 403, Block XI., to a point on the north-west boundary of said Section 403. distant 2018·3 links from its north-west corner: thence by lines bearing north 76° 12′ west 656·2 links, bearing north 76° 19′ west 212·1 links, bearing north 75° 35′ west 598 links, bearing south 86° 2′ west 1144·1 links, bearing north 59° 27′ west 413·3 links, bearing north 19° 30′ west 267·2 links, bearing north 80° 36′ west 327·8 links, bearing south 69° west 477·1 links, bearing north 22° 59′ west 443·2 links, bearing north 79° 36′ west 981·5 links, bearing north 72° 43′ west 693·3 links, bearing south 47° 33′ west 853·7 links, bearing north 68° 42′ west 4951·3 links, to the eastern boundary-line of Section 877, Block X. aforesaid: thence by Sections 877, 871, 872, Block X., Section 293, Block VI., and 294, Block IX., all in the Mangapakeha Survey District, to the point of commencement: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
Passed at a special meeting of the Council this 6th day of November, 1902.
Confirmed this 11th day of December, 1902.

THE following special order, made by the Oakura Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

OAKURA ROAD BOARD.
Special Order.
That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Oakura Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £250, at 4½ per centum, authorised to be raised by the Oakura Road Board under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for forming and metalling that portion of the Wairau Road from the Main South Road to the junction of the Surry Hill Road, then to continue along the Surry Hill Road as far as the money permits, the said Oakura Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅞d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Wairau Road Special-rating District, comprising Sections 50, 60, 65, 67, 68, 153, 154, 155, 156, 157, Block III., Cape Survey District, and upon Sections part 14. 30, 31, 32, 41, 42, 43, 51, 52, 58, 59, 61, 66, Block II., Wairau Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of January and the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until such loan is fully paid off.
