Notice extending Time for holding Election of Board of Conciliation, Nelson Industrial District.

RANFURLY, Governor.

WHEREAS by subsection four of section thirty-eight of “The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1900,” it is provided that the Governor may from time to time extend the period within which any election shall be held for such time as he thinks fit; And whereas it is expedient to extend the time within which the first ordinary election of the members of the Board of Conciliation of the Nelson Industrial District shall be held:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by “The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1900,” doth hereby extend the time within which the first ordinary election of the members of the Board of Conciliation of the Nelson Industrial District shall be held to not later than the eighth day of June next.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and three.

Trustee for the Kihikihi Public Cemetery appointed.

RANFURLY, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

DAVID MILLAR ROSS

to be a Trustee, in the place of Andrew Ross, deceased, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Kihikihi Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and three.

Native Reserve, Westland Land District, brought under the Provisions of “The Mining Act, 1898.”

RANFURLY, Governor.

IN exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section twenty-five of “The Mining Act, 1898” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), and of all other powers enabling me on this behalf, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that all the provisions of the said Act, and the regulations thereunder, shall have operation within the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece or parcel of land in the Westland Land District, situate on the north side of the Grey River, containing 1,000 acres, more or less, being Native Reserve, Section 1, Block VI., Mawheranui Survey District, in Square 118: as the same is delineated in the record map in the Lands and Survey Office at Hokitika.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and three.

to be a Trustee, in the place of James Hutchison Sutter, deceased, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Timaru Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.

Trustees for the Te Uku Public Cemetery appointed.

RANFURLY, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the forty-fifth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the local authority specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to have the control and management of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

The Raglan County Council. TE UKU.
All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Section No. 20a of the Parish of Whaingaroa. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road, 300 and 315 links; towards the south-east by land granted to J. Wallis, 920 links; towards the south-west by the Mangakino Stream; and towards the north-west by a line, 955 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and three.

Land temporarily reserved in the Wellington Land District.

RANFURLY, Governor.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land so intended to be temporarily reserved.
